Its just a new(old) strip down the middle with both brown and gold correct? I love the stripe but it isn't a drastic change. I like it and maybe we will use the throwback jerseys that go with that helmet too. I would like them to use the brown helmet too from time to time.

Oh jesus here we go. Whats next? The basketball team going back to short shorts and Chuck T's? Pandering to the old fogies and totally alienating the youngins. Those helmets are not good. Retro occasionally is ok, but that being the permanent go to helmet sucks.

Im hoping it is a terrible joke. That won't really fit with our current uniforms which only leads me to believe that shortly we will be hearing that that they are going back to the ugly uniforms of yesteryear. Sad day for cowboy fans under the age of 60

I really hope this helmet will not be used for every game. Throwbacks for a game or two is great, but not every game. DC didn't do much well, but he really did great when it came to uniforms (bringing in Nike, multiple combos etc...)

I disagree here. I always thought that the brown and gold stripes made the white helmets look better. I also like the symbolism of embracing the brand identity associated with our most recent era of real, consistent success.

In general, I would like to see virtually no white at home. But that is just me.

Perhaps brown lids at home and an all-white on the road? :twocents:

One more penny and we will have a nickel--which is about about much difference this will make on the scoreboard.

I love the stripe. I think it was Dimel who got rid of it as a normal gameday decision. I"d be happy with these but I REALLY HOPE we aren't completely ditching the brown helmets with gold stickers. I was skeptical of those but they are my favorite new uniform tweak of the last 20 years.
