This is the most distractable group of players ever if different uniforms/helmets are that big of a deal. Got to get with the times. The best of the best all have various looks.

I just don't get it...all the innovative stuff in recruiting utilizing Wyoming's various different looks, but ultimately they'll go 80's helmets? This reminds me of Norm Chow bringing back the Rainbow look at Hawaii...it appeases some from the older generation (not all)...but overall won't go over well with fans.

Wyoming has such a unique set of school colors. Restricting the possibilities doesn't help with recruiting.

Yup sure does was the best helmet by far and away. Looked so good with the State Flag Steamboat for the Border War. IMO burn the all white and burn that white helmet we never beat anyone wearing that crap lol.

I love the old school type of helmet. However, I really don't get why we don't use everything at our disposal to attract kids to play here and that includes cool different uniforms and helmets. I think the brown helmet is awesome and we should use it even if we only have a home and away jersey. Sometimes I think Bohl trys to hard to be "we're cowboy tough, blue collar, old school, we don't need fancy....blah blah" thing too far.

What is wrong with progressing in terms of uniforms or helmets? I don't understand, nor do I buy into the hype. A helmet and a jersey combination is no more of a distraction in Laramie than anywhere else in America. It seems a bit hypicritical coming from "one of the best dressed college coaches" to drum down our uniform. Next they will be removing the mountains from the field...too flashy. I don't get it...does someone really think this will make us a better football team? "Come on man!"
