Wyo is 1-0
CU is 1-1
Both teams have their first win of the season over UT-Martin.
CU lost their season opener to #25 Baylor.
Wyo beat UTM 78-60 and CU beat UTM 91-65.
Wyo has beaten CU the last 2 years, but a lot of that was due to Leonard Washington.
Can the Pokes do it without Leonard "I'm a Grown Ass Man" Washington?
Against Baylor, CU's bench only scored 8 points but against UTM they put up 32 points.
I don't know if the big difference is because they were playing their starters most of the game against Baylor since they were losing, and in the UTM game they had a big lead so put in the backups.
Or if the bench just didn't produce anything in the first game and found their groove in game 2.
Scott and Dinwiddie seem to be the best players on CU.
Looks like we need to counter those two with Hankerson (Dinwiddie) and Nance (Scott).
This is the first time Grabau will get to play CU. He played in the game last season for a couple minutes but his knee was still hurt so he came out early in the first half and didn't play again. And he didn't play in the CU game his freshman year. Him being the kid from Boulder that CU overlooked, he is probably ready to play them. Will he be too amped up and play careless? Or since he is junior now, will he not let those potential emotions get to him?
And for Adams, this is his first trip back to the Coors Events Center since his State Championship, buzzer beating tip in.
Will he let old high school emotions get to him? He seems to be stuck in high-school mentality wise on twitter anyways. I hope he is calm and collected.
He did play quite a bit against CU last season, so hopefully it's just business as usual.
