WYO @ CSU

I am looking ahead here, but this is a HUGE game.

Pokes play @San Jose on Saturday. If there was ever an easy road win, it is this game. But we have proven to not be too good on the road this season so nothing is for sure.

Meanwhile, CSU plays at New Mexico. I don't think CSU is all that legit. I don't think they can go into the Pit and win either.

I would really like us to give CSU their first loss, but at the same time, won't be a bit upset if the Lobos beat the Sheep.

I think Wyo, CSU, and SDSU are the 3 MWC teams to make the Big Dance, but now that we are in conference play, New Mexico must be taken seriously, considering they are the team that always ends up winning the MWC Tourney.

Anyways, I expect Wyo to be 13-2, and CSU to be 14-1 going into that game next week, more importantly I think Wyo will be 2-0 and CSU will be 1-1.
 
I want CSU to be undefeated when we beat them on the 7th. I hope we can trash San Jocrappy State so our starters can get some good rest.

Considering SJSU is desperate enough to be using some of the football team to fill in some spots...

Totally agree.
The win will be nice for the Pokes. Make them 2-0 in mwc play and 2 straight road wins. Nothing like confidence heading into foco

I said "all that legit". As in a real Top 25 team. More than Top 25 teams make it into the Dance.

There are currently five teams that are in serious competition for the conference championships, and whatever NCAA slots we may be offered- Wyoming, CSEwe, UNLV, SDSU, and UNM. With AFA playing a spoiler role, it's pretty impossible, at this point, to say with much confidence at all, what that top five order will look like. I think UNM is the longest shot, but beyond that, any combination of the other four teams is possible and pretty unpredictable. It's going to come down to road wins...
 
gotta take care of going on the road and beating SJSU 1st, should be easy but it's still a roadie....
Yes Jan 7 is huge, if we both go in there at 2-0 in conf and they stay 15-0, debating if i wanna make the trek to the barn
I think Larry will take care of business!!
 
We beat these greenies on the road and we'll be in the MWC driver's seat. Won't be easy as we'll probably get hosed on calls a little as to be expected in college ball and a lot of funky things happen in this rival series. I've just felt that we're destined to sweep the sheep this year. My confidence in the team is up big time after that UNLV game. We OWN the greenies this year so far.

Looks like the sheep are gonna fall... HARD! From 14-0 and in the top 25 to losers of 2 straight. I can't wait! I definitely plan on making the trek down south
 
After the debacle in Albuquerque, rest assured that Coach Crybaby will be riding his Rammies hard in practice leading up to the game on Wednesday. You really never know how a team is going to respond after an ass-whuppin', but I'll be shocked if the Rams aren't jacked. Bejarano and Gillon have no conscience from deep, so let's hope Papa Shy tries to extend the defensive pressure on the perimeter like we saw from UNM at times last night. Honestly, that is the area I'm most worried about for Wednesday night.

Let's hope the cold three-point shooting for the sheep continues. Including the 6-16 effort against BSU, CS-ewe is 12-50 (24%) beyond the arc over the last three games:

Pokes need to:

Battle through adversity that they will surely face in FoCo.

Not let the 3 kill them.

Score in bunches, don't have any cold streaks.
 
I got my tix. Hope enough Pokes fans make their way down here to Fort Fun. Students are away, so there will be a chance to make some noise!
 
gonna skip this one, unfortunately due to bowling committments, but I think it's one we can steal at the barn in FOCO, get it done
 
This game is getting even bigger as the Pokes are climbing again in the polls. Winner of this game will most likely be the one that gets to be the conference rep in the top 25 for another week. Gotta love a HUGE rivalry game with big time implications. If the Pokes win this game I think we're gonna take both Boise St and SDSU down at the DOME OF DOOM. Should launch us well into the top 25 if we can do it. Lets go POKES!!!

WYO fans looking for cheap(er) tickets can pick up the $10 corner seats. The sheep are averaging an amazing 3,436 fans per game through eight games at Moby. You might be able to find yourself better seats after the game begins.

We have struggled on the road this year so far and we don't play well in Foco it's going to take a big Adams game and Grabau is going to have to show us he can still hit the 3.
