We should feel pretty goddamn lucky as Pokes fans this year just to be in this place, to be this excited during conference play. This team has put in a lot of great effort and I know I'm gonna miss these players that leave pretty bad. I'm fucking ecstatic that we're already back in the rankings mix. I thought it was gonna take a hell of a lot more but here we are. It's game time. Let's beat these fucking greenies one more time baby!!!! Over on the RamNation board, they're indicating that the ticket office told the CSU coaching staff to expect an awful lot of brown in the stands on Wednesday. Folks are worried that we might outnumber them. Not sure if that will happen this year, but I'm expecting a large Wyoming contingent. Then again, if the ticket office is warning the coaching staff, maybe I'm underestimating our fans. We used to outnumber them pretty often. Hasn't happened in quite a few years though.

I can't wait. I bet a lot of us bought tickets in other sections than that appointed to us. Plus their seats are cheaper than ours in any part of the arena. You can get halfcourt seats at Moby gym cheaper than knothole tickets for the unlv game. My brother and I may be in a sea of green on Wednesday away from our brothers in brown and gold, but that won't stop us from letting them know we're there.

I went to FoCo for the games in 2012 and 2013 and Wyo fans were spread out throughout the arena. Generally placed in the top and corners, but definitely spread throughout the arena.
 
yeah, I would take it on any station. ESPN U, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, Root, anything. But online for a rivalry game with two of the leading MWC teams?

USU vs Fresno I think is on ESPN that night... :whistle:

I like the points as well. From what little I've seen of them, they are the polar opposite of us. They can score very well from outside and penetration. But they don't play very good defense and every player seems to have the green light to shoot at will. I would expect them to go at Nance as often as they can to get him in foul trouble.

For the first time in years, I think we have a good chance to win this game.
 
Strangely, this morning's Denver Post had NO commentary on this nights game. There was a big article on the return of Scott on the (loser) CU team.

That's because CSU is irrelevant in the hearts and minds of all but a few thousand Coloradans. That's why talk of the Big XII is absurd.
 
Went in 12 and 13 myself and now matter what I HATE THAT PLACE, kinda glad I have to go bowling tonight and that it isn't on to distract me(like that'll matter, lol) there's no excuses for me the rest of the home games in Laramie the rest of the year tho. CMON Pokes let's get it done tonight and be the only undefeated team in the MWC!!!
