Some really poor seedings for the Willochell brothers in particular. How does Rathjen get a higher seed over Gabe only wrestling 11 matches and not even having a RPI?
He also lost to the guy from Cal Baptist...Rathjen doesn't even a RPI and is ranked below Gabe in the coaches poll
Gabe beat the #3 seed by tech fall...
I don't disagree with you on the #1 seed though Swiderski is no longer hurt like he was early in the year and took those losses. I am not even saying Gabe should be above Kelley but Rathjen beat One ranked wrestler and doesn't even have a RPI. He should be the last seed in 149.He also lost to the guy from Cal Baptist...
If he wanted a better seed at the Big 12s, probably should have beat that guy to ensure being seeded over him (instead of #7 and #8 behind him).
Come on man. There is nothing egregious. Go out and win matches at the Big 12s. It is that simple.
What is wild is Luke Willochel got one of the Top 7 133 allocations but is the 8 seed? The willowchell seedlings seem low to me too, but I have not dug into the head to head conference records
Because frost is not wrestling there is one fewer auto bid now, is that how that works? Is frost counting on an at large to get into the ncaa tournament?Just like that IAST drops their stud 133 from Big12s and Big12 loses the allocation at 133. Luke moved into the 7 seed and brackets redone
You are correct 133 goes from 8 to 7 allocations. Frost is no longer eligible for NCAA since he did not wrestle in his conference tourney. His season is now doneBecause frost is not wrestling there is one fewer auto bid now, is that how that works? Is frost counting on an at large to get into the ncaa tournament?
Ya. Just saw he is out with an injuryYou are correct 133 goes from 8 to 7 allocations. Frost is no longer eligible for NCAA since he did not wrestle in his conference tourney. His season is now done
I guess it could be injury or his weight is way off. His Twin Brother is at 149 but he wrestled 33?Ya. Just saw he is out with an injury
