I understand life takes precedence, but where in the heck is everyone. We're less than a month from kickoff with fans, we have a great team for 2021. Where in the heck is everyone. This board is beyond dead. I've visited a few other boards and they put this one to shame as far as activity. I guess I'm just a little disappointed. 3 posts for Josh Allen's extension I guess is what put me over the edge.

Message boards are dying. I'm guessing POKE chatter is occurring in other venues or our fans just don't partake in such activities much any more.

Been a rough year for UW fans. Rougher than normal.

Seems we always get kicked in the nuts somehow, and it happened a lot last year, on the field (CSewe), on the court (CSewe again), in the media, oh...and on the ballot. LOL.

I just blame BYU for this mess we're in. Black 14 was the very beginning of the hell UW football has been for the past several decades.

No outright conference titles in football since 1988.

I still like this board. You’ll see people come out of the woodwork IF we do well. It’s year eight of the “rebuild”. We all know pretty much what we’re going to get. I, for one, support the players and am excited as usual for the season!

Let’s be realistic, virtually no one under 30 is using a message board.

Interesting. I fit the profile - enjoy the banter, dialogue, communication, whatever you want to call it.

What are the < 30's doing, video games, jerking off, and eating hummus all day (oh and getting paid by the government to do so)?

Here's one fans perspective. First, the covid scares are never going away. I'm guessing we will see games cancelled, fan numbers limited, and mask mandates for those allowed to go. I see the risk, but I've been vaccinated and I don't care if you are or are not.

I could not watch a college football game last year without some public service message about racial justice. I'm tired of hearing about how racist all we white people are. If that's the road were going down, ok. But I will no longer watch any major college sports on tv or in person. I gave up on pro sports a long time ago and don't miss it one bit. I can spend my money on other pursuits quite easily.

Finally, I've resisted those who call Bohl Glenn 2.0. But after last years debacles against feather weight competitors csewe and New Mexico, the writing is on the wall. We've had the most inept offense with the exception of one future all pro qb. I hope I'm proven wrong. But if we've learned nothing during the Bohl era, we are capable of losing to anyone.

Everything with that generation is done via different social media (TikTok,Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, etc…). The focus tends to shift to one’s own content and how many views and likes they can get, I don’t understand it.

TikTok is by far the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen get really popular. People really do like watching people (hot chicks) lip synch or mouth sound clips. Baffling.

That’s because you’re a nazi White supremacist and we all know white supremacy is the greatest threat to America right now

Your guys comments are the answer to the question why don't young people largely don't come on this board. There's plenty of young people on Reddit and other boards, but they're not gonna hang around a bunch of people that belittle an entire generation based on its worst members.

I've never understood the generational hate thing. Especially when you have a generation hating on the generation they literally raised. I've never once heard a boomer say, "Man these kids suck, we must have been really shitty parents!"

Guilty - but I am on the edge here. I cannot control what is not mine to control, and I am smart enough to know that. There are good & bad in all generations of course, but one would be kidding himself / herself to not see a major disconnect with Gen Z. Whose fault...Gen Y, Gen X, who knows - some of both. Parenting is certainly a key.

I can't stand the music kids listen to today. I miss '80s rock. Nirvana, IMHO, destroyed real Rock 'N Roll. 1993, 1994-ish is when things went south music wise.

Please DON'T get me started on rap. If whites can't say the n-word then neither can blacks sing using that word either.

I agree with laxwyo. I never understood TikTok either.

IMO, rock and roll died the second EVH played the synthesizer in Jump.

I had no problem when him using synthesizers for that song.

Rock went out the window in the mid-1990s....sady...it never came back!!!!!!!!!!
