I like the Bucks as a fit. And the Nugs, jazz ideas for obvious reason. Houston for the same reason for me.
I love the NBA draft and follow it pretty closely. This year has a good draft at sg, SF, and pf. Point guard is super weak. I hope a team believes that Adams can be/become a pg. I thought it would be better for wyomings team of they'd have played Adams at point. For his development as a pg and to showcase him to NBA teams as a pg they absolutely did Adams wrong. To play on a 15-20whatever they were team and not help his future was a question mark to me.
This years pg's in the NBA draft include
Dunn 6-4 providence: consensus #1 pg. will be taken top 3-8
Adams is the next best but not general consensus. He isn't even considered in the next group by the "internet experts"
Wade Baldwin 6-3 Vanderbilt. He's supposed to be a 10-20 pick. He has a 6-9 wingspan so losers on the Internet think that means he's a star. I don't see it really, he might be a good backup, heck maybe he is an NBA starter. I just can't see it
Demetrius Jackson 6-1 Norte dame. He's supposed to be a 10-20 pick. I see why some like wade Baldwin but this guy has no business being drafted if you're trying to draft a guy that can become an impact player- he's a 3rd pg.
Melo Trimble played maryland so he must be better than a Wyoming guy right? Let's hope and you know that not all decision makers think that way.
Long story short. This years pg class is super weak. I hope Adams gets the exposure he needs. Because I could see him getting picked in the first round with this lack of pg's. I could still see him go undrafted.
Someone bringing up Brett smith in talking about Adams. That's that persons fault. Anyone who saw Brett smith as an NFL qb that's on you. This is a different conversation. This is one the few elite athletes UW has had in a long while
