What are you trying to say Mr. ACS?

heh.. Mr ACS should be worrying about complying with detectives in the case w/ his teammates being suspended.

Lol come one guys.....
He should be worrying about his teammates? He was being asked questions about him playing QB...

He will be good for them.
What I got from that interview saying he has learned what college football is all about, is he is saying that he was an immature kid when he was in Laramie.
The coaching staff being head and shoulders above anywhere else he has been feels like a dis @ Wyoming, but at that time DC had only coached two seasons, and had no talent on the team to work with.
ACS is a good kid, has grown up, and hopefully will lead Vandy to a lot of wins.
I do know that, if Vandy had Brett Smith they would win more ;)

What a baby, I'm so glad to have watched him but he didn't like DC and bolted like a spoiled little baby, I'd sooo rather watch a more fun, grounded Brett Smith anyday...good riddance ACS

Say what you will about ACS, but the stiff arm on the TD run against CSU will always be one of my favorite UW memories.

especially since the mtn announcers were just talking about oppenneer like he could shit rainbows

Honestly I don't think he was inferring anything. He was just answering some questions from the media. Big deal.

Not sure why you guys need to try and read something into everything. Non story in my opinion.

ACS had some big frickin moments. The SDSU come-back. The Utah TD reception. The CSU stiff-arm. The NM Bowl vs. Fresno State. Good stuff. Even his next season where the Pokes sucked, he still beat the living shit out of the Sheep 44-0.

That was Alvester Alexander though. AA got 5 TDs and over 140 yds on the ground. The sheep could not stop him.

ACS was good for WY. HE won a bowl game. But he paved the way for Brett Smith....we should be thanking him. I know i am new to the board but I have had season tickets since 2004 and have been to as many games as is financially allowed by my beloved.

Alvester had 5 of the 6 TDs and that was amazing, but ACS threw for 267 and ran for 46 including a running TD.
Most of the offense was ACS leading the team down field then ACS busting off for huge TDs.
Going into that game 2-9 sucked, but after beating the Sheep 44-0, that was like winning a bowl game. It was awesome.
5 frickin TDs in AMAZING.

He is a hell of a quarterback. Its too bad it didn't work out here for him, and I wish him the best. Maybe we can meet up in a bowl game (not very likely I know).

Never know, but that would be pretty cool.

I hope he does well and believe that he is talented. Honestly although, IMO, ACS leaving was probably one of the best things that happened to the program. Brett Smith is simply a better QB than ACS in just about every way. I think Brett Smith as a true freshman gave us a better chance at winning games than ACS as a Junior. I doubt that DC would have given the starting job to Brett Smith over ACS and who knows maybe Brett Smith would have transferred.

I agree. Or maybe the writing was on the wall for ACS with Smith coming in.
Smith was a 5 star recruit or anything, but if anyone knows how to find the right QB for his team, it is Dave Christensen.
Either way, I am stoked we have Smith, and glad ACS is getting a shot (in the SEC no less).
I would love for Vandy to make a big run this season.

I got to admit, having ACS, Smith, and Thompson on the roster at quarterback would have been great. There wouldn't be many worries about injuries, etc.

Regardless though, despite the drama, I do wish him the best. He's a young guy learning his way through life.

I'm happy with Smith and Thompson. We are in as good if not better shape.

it's all agreed, but I really don't miss him anymore

I quit missing ACS the moment B-Smith hit Herron in the endzone on a fade route to beat Weber St.
Of course, Austyn Carta-Scrambles as a JR would have been given a green light to run all over Weber St. and he alone probably would have had like 200 rush yards and 3 TDs running lol.
But, yes I agree, we are in a much better position now with Brett Smith.
