Western Michigan vs. WYO

I mean as an overall team throughout the season. In my eyes a good free throw shooter is in the 80%+ range and we have zero of those

Agreed. No excuse really. Many of our players declined in percentage compared to a year ago (Nance and Washington most notably) and nearly all of them declined as the season went on (Gilmore was shooting in the mid-80's in OOC for example).

Not much you can say about it.

man if I read this thread correctly I guess that even though we had a 20 win team we should probably all kill our selves.

I know, people on here are acting worse than when we were going 10-21.

Well being a half glass full guy, those overrated Arizona Wildcats are in the Sweet Sixteen.

Doesn't matter they are still the same overrated team regardless where they are.

Most of the people declined as the season wore on that is what happens when you play 30+ mins every game you wear out your performers and yes you can even be worn out enough to effect FT shooting.

Deeper bench next year I think we will be in better shape, Sure hope we have a true 3 point threat.

If we were any better than a CBI team, we would of blown out every team and won the tourney. We hit a three to win one game and give one up to lose in OT. Back to back CBI is better than previous regime and I anticipate better next year and hope to make NIT. We do that an we're progressing nicely.

Wow. Watching this on tv and and I literally can hear Papa Shy yelling AND I can hear the echo after. Not the Dome of Doom I wish it was :(.
Only 1 or 2 games this year with more people than seats watching the games. Thank god for a 15000 seat arena.

kinda glad that they are going to start rennovations on the AA, and dumping 3k seats, imo 12000 is a bit more obtainable

Happy with the season overall, not happy with the lack of effort showing in the last 6 minutes of this game.......I don't like quitters and I felt like they quit in OT

I have always held on to the idea that Wyoming basketball would suffer greatly in the conference part of the season. Problem is that we have a very soft preseason schedule and then when we hit conference play we are not ready to compete. This year we had a false sense of accomplishment entering conference play. Best start in the history of the program is both bitter and sweet! It puts this group of kids in the record books but I am not sure it did much to prepare them for conference play. There are many issues with athletics in Laramie, Wy. Most are out of our control. What we can only hope for is a coach, Poppa Shy, that can convince kids that Laramie is a good place to play basketball. That my friends is a tough sell because of the location and climate. Never-the-less if anyone can do it Shyatt can! Go Pokes!

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but if the program starts winning consistently, people will come to the games.

I'm predicting that Adams will be the next Gilmore - unpredictable, unreliable, selfish, but with an occasional show of brilliance. I hope that I am wrong.

I think you are way wrong dude. Adams is the future of this program. He had good numbers and some great games, and remember he is only a freshman.
He can score at will at times, he just needs to get more confidence. Look what happened for Grabau from year 1 to 2. If Adams improves like that, then this kid is gonna be the leader of the team.

Funny that you say selfish too, because if Gilmore had the ball against Lehigh going down the court he would have jacked up a shitty 3 himself. Instead, Adams had the ball took it down the court, found the open guy then dished the ball out.
And unreliable...I guess him owning Jamaal Franklin on D and helping holding SDSU to 9 points in a half is unreliable. Please get over yourself, Adams may have an ego and might come off a bit cocky and you wanna blame the loss last night on him but that doesn't mean he is unreliable and selfish.

What's the difference of 15K and 12K. We had 2,500. Maybe we should rennovate to 8K, that seems more obtainable.

I tell you what, When the going gets tough, people bitch and cry about "EVERYTHING"! First the team, then the coach, then the AD, then fan support, now our arena. It's pathetic!

That is nothing unusual after bad seasons.....Hawaii was terrible in everything this year....football, basketball, baseball.....all of a sudden people are talking about dropping sports, pulling donations, firing everyone and anyone that can be found, not attending future games, its complain and bitch city. This happens when you lose.....it is hardly exclusive to Wyoming....venture over to ramnation.com......the bitching is thick and in the air over there.

The Ram farts always bitch even when they are winning!!!! Dumbest mistake those idiots made was running off Sonny Lubick. I'm glad they did but still....

15k seating is the dumbest thing ever. We filled it like twice ever! I'd rather have 12k and an updated AA. I can't believe that if we sold out 12k (prolly wont), people would be saying, "if we only had 3k more seats to stay emtpy for the next 20 years.

Didn't we just have 20 wins. Thats the exact amount we had in Schroyers last two years. Can I see this being a disappointing season? Yes. But, no one is talking about a disappointing season, They are talking like we won less than 10 wins. Get over your petty crap people. We just went 20-14. Next thing I know, we'll go 23-10 next year and everyone will freak when we make the NIT, because we are SO HORRIBLE!
