No way we should have gotten into the NIT. Too weak of a non-conference schedule. We wern't too far off though. If we beat Utah State, Utah (in the conference tournament), and showed well in the championship game we might have had a chance. I have a feeling the NIT will be sending an invite our way come next year.

We got what we earned. Had UW won two of the following, there would have been a NIT lock if not more:

Utard State loss in OT
Boise State last second loss
BYU loss at home
NM loss at home
Utardian loss in the MWC

And maybe...just maybe the TCU close loss in Dallas.
