We have made a mistake in every crucial situation. I don't think these guys are all that much better than us. That D line is really good

Maybe our d will score a td. Seems to be our only chance at scoring at this point as the offense doesn't seem up to the task
 
Missed opportunities are the biggest difference in this game

Muffed punt handed them 7 points

We bobble a touchdown and should have had 7 points

Flip those and you have a score of 14 to 10 and this game is competitive

A good team can make a team look bad but I see a lot to be optimistic about starting with the defense. It's too bad we didn't have g Webb to start the season

Vigen sucked 2 years ago. Vigen' s job was saved last year from Allen, hill and the receivers making things happen. Now we easily see vigen still sucks

He was bad the second half of last year because he was trying to blow everyone up instead of wrapping up. I don't know what he was doing on that third down run. He wasn't even close to getting the shoe laces of that back.

True, but at the same time, Iowa has had so many bonehead miscues its not funny. You could say the same thing about them. Take away the missed opportunities they've had and we're down by 30. Which is kinda how this game has felt.
