Now this is what I've been waiting for.
 
They are playing a true complete game. If this carries over to New Mexico and the tournament I think we will be in good shape. Maybe we won't win but we will at least play our way into the NIT.
 
The Pokes look like they are in pre mono form. Not nearly as many turnovers and USU is a solid defensive team. When Cooke starts popping 3's, you know it is a good night.

I think Nance is still only about 90% of where he will be next week when the tourney starts. If tonight is any indication of what is to come, and Larry is at 100%, the MWC better watch out.

That's the key. NCAA only a vanishingly remote chance. Two more wins, I'm guessing gets the NIT. And guess what? I'm thinking the NIT is the best hope for several games in the postseason.

Yep. The bright side of the mono is it enabled Josh Adams to shine. The Pokes now have two legitimate threats when Nance is healthy.

Great game and a great way for the seniors to end their time in the AA. Too bad Bentz didn't score...but he did make some nice assists.

See. Don't quit on this team just yet. Teams get hot and win conference tournaments as non-1/2 seeds all the time. Beat New Mexico Saturday, and this team officially becomes the ball club nobody wants to play.

I hope we can get the #3 seed. I would love to play Fresno St. in the first game to get it started. We owe them one after they just beat us at home. Think we will be ready for them. Then we would play the winner of SDSU and UNLV.
 
Like I said earlier in the thread, If at least 2 players show up and help Adams out we win and that is exactly what happened at least 2 people showed up. Great game for the Pokes and i'm really going to miss this senior class.

Sick of hearing that we won because of our defense. I don't think the defense was any better than the last 2 games we lost. We won this game because we finally started ATTACKING offensively and taking care of the basketball. Keep up that and there's still some hope in the season.
