USU @ WYO- Game Day Thread

I know people won't like this, and I'm planning on not predicting attendance anymore after pissing people off by accurately predicting it last week, but this weeks game is way off the pace from Boise. This one looks like 20-22K to me, although there are way more empty seats and I didn't take as much time to count them as I did with Boise and AFA.

Does anyone else have a guess?

Man that sucks but hey its just kind of where the program's at. Someone else said the state economy is hurting too. People are probably saying "well I'll wait and see if I have to go to the SDSU 1st place game". Understandable. It costs a lot of dough to do the long trek to Laramie from the various spots in Wyoming and it can be a perilous journey as well. It'll be nuts to see a blizzard sell out game for the MWC championship in Laramie if it happens. I can already see it too........

I saw somewhere that they were expecting closer to 17-18K

Time for a new name: Junkydamus

So is this the most compete Cowboys team in 20 years or what????? Haven't seen a team this complete since Tiller's last. Tiller's special teams were totally insane. Legendary special teams unit. This current team runs a much more balanced offense but they aren't near the firepower O of that Tiller team. They'd scorch the deck man. Current D better then Tiller's last???? They seem so clutch this current d. The special teams have been solid for this new squad too.

Defense is better, but lack in pass rushing capability, especially since Granderson went down.

That's probably closer to the truth. I didn't go through the process of counting each section like I did for AFA and Boise. There are just too many empty seats this week.

It is a late showing tonight. I usually make it to the games - but unfortunately tonight is not one of those nights. I really hope we win this one. Too many ass kickings from the aggies in the past.

It's a great team no doubt about it but to win fans back it will take more consistency then just one year.

Unlike the Boise game, I'd like us to actually score on offense on our first drives tonight. My heart would really prefer it if we got into the driver's seat early and were able to let Hill sit out the entire second half without worry.

Pokes are young, and could stumble with any game. However, I just don't see that happening tonight! On a side note, I am liking these Saturday night games. On the west coast, Kick off is at 7:15. My favorite bar already knows to have the Pokes game on and it's fun watching and talking about Wyo here in Phoenix.

Yeah, this game isn't going to be over for another 45+ minutes. Kansas is throwing and stopping the clock with incompletions, and WV is getting first downs and stopping the clock with every down.
