This weeks games have upset central written all over them. As it sits BSU could actually see themselves moving up as many as 3 spots if the games end with current scores and with another game just starting if they were all losses BSU could move from 10th to 6th.
College Recap
Friday, November 18 2011
Iowa State stuns No. 2 Oklahoma St. in 2nd OT 37-31
Saturday, November 19 2011
N Carolina St stuns No. 7 Clemson 37-13
No. 18 Michigan stomps No. 16 Nebraska 45-17
11:00 remaining in the 4th USC on top of Oregon #4 38-27
1:15 remaining in the 3rd Baylor #22 on top of OU 31-24
5:01 remaining in the 1st California on top of Stanford #9 10-7
So games that are over already #2 and #7 both drops games. BSU should move up 1-2 spots could move up more. #4 and #5 are both currently losing. If they both lose BSU could potentially see themselves as high as #5-6.
Houston obviously will move up as well but we have seen those times where non AQ teams end 12-0 and never see the top 2 spots.
I hate to say it but this comes down to Wyoming more than anything. It's going to be the same as it was for Nevada last year. You beat BSU and you move them down and move yourself to a lower Bowl game. A lot of implications riding on these late games right now.
