JimmyDimes said:I'd say a combo of bad luck and mono.ZapPoke said:JimmyDimes said:The Pokes have two weeks to get back into their early season form. Nance is not close to being there yet....but I have faith. Too many bad turnovers again. Think we need to work other guys into the rotation if we're in a scoring drought. And I'd much prefer to see Lieberman or Gorski out there over Bentz. UNLV did shoot about twice their average from the arc. That didn't hurt them. It is tough to beat a team on the road that hits 60% on 20 shots from the 3.

Everybody shoos well against the Pokes. There has to be a reason. Bad defense perhaps?
I only ask as I had a convo with an athletic dept. official at th MSU football game who said work began the day after senior night. Who knows. It very well could have changedwyokoke said:I believe sometime around when they finished phase 1ItSucksToBeACSURam said:When did this change?Wyolie Coyote said:Renovations start in May. I'm not sure on that anyways, all I've really heard is on here. I just think it was around the reopening I saw something about thatItSucksToBeACSURam said:I only ask as I had a convo with an athletic dept. official at th MSU football game who said work began the day after senior night. Maybe we do. Our man Larry won't use the bench enough to find out.BeaverPoke said:WE SHOULD HAVE MORE DEPTH THAN TO LOSE BY 23 AT A CRAPPY AIR FORCE. :twocents

Mono may as well have been a season-ending injury. Look at the before and after for Larry (bless his heart for coming back so soon and giving it his all). Who knows if he'll get back to his old self before we're done playing this season. Oh, and he was our best player. Seems like a pretty good "excuse" to me. Sucks, but shit keeps happening to us and I don't know how we could have overcome all this stuff. Take away injuries and everyone's singing a different tune about the direction of the program. I say give Shyatt a raise and an extension.BeaverPoke said:JimmyDimes said:I'd say a combo of bad luck and mono.ZapPoke said:JimmyDimes said:The Pokes have two weeks to get back into their early season form. You are kidding right? Bad luck and mono have nothing to do with Wood going for 29 the first time against us.
Mono kept Nance out for 4 games. Not 14. Bad luck? Come on man. Enough with the damn excuses.
Damn. So REALLY imagine how dangerous Boise would be if they hadn't lost Drmic and how bad UNLV would have waxed us the other night had they had more than 7 people in uniform. Holy hell, think about the beatings we'd have taken from SDSU had Pollee been healthy this year....DAMN. Every team has injuries and illness and dismissals. The good ones figure it out and move forward, the bad ones don't.LanderPoke said:Mono may as well have been a season-ending injury.
