UNC game

They seem to have a good offense with good QBs

I'm surprised as a Wyoming fan you know what good offenses and good QBs look like. It's been so long since we had either I'm not sure I'd know what to look for.

Houston Baptist put up 500 yards on them. We should be able to do same. They are not a good team

Yup true! I couldn’t believe my damn eyes in the 4th qtr of last game

Pokes are a 23 point favorite in this one. I hope Bohl doesn't shit the bed like he has in the past. I think the Pokes will win but it may be a lot closer than 23 points.

How about a repeat of a previous game against them? One of the NCAA’s longest-standing records comes out of this series. On Nov. 5, 1949, the Cowboys beat then Colorado State College of Education, 103-0, the most points ever scored by a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team in a single game in NCAA history. The Pokes scored 15 touchdowns in the game and 13 extra points!

If the Pokes can't cover 23 against UNC they are an awful team. Pokes and the spread. Easy money.

UNC has 2 former 4* QB's on the roster, both can start, both can play the game well. One was from Michigan, the other Wisconsin I believe.

UNC is going into this game with nothing to lose, and will play lights out. UW, no matter the coach speak, will take them somewhat for granted. A recipe for a loss (see North Dakota NoNamers in 2015).

If Bohl doesn't win this, handily, who will be first to revive the "Fire Bohl" thread on this forum?

Exactly! This game makes me nervous. Has anyone seen our pass defense this year?????

Ok I get pessimism, but jeez. This is a bottom of the barrel Big Sky team. What on earth is going on for you to think that they will win. Understandably it might be closer than you want, but to fear a loss come on.

Pokes 34
Bears 21

That would bother me, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. We have mediocre to fair seasons winning close ones against teams like them. I however see a different outcome.
My prediction:
Cowboys: 41
Bears: 20

I figure Bohl wants to have a strong running game in this one. We've gone two games without a rushing TD, and I'm sure he's thinking we better get that run game going more consistently before we play AF.

If it works, great. No one ever complains when it works.

I just don't want to see us get too conservative and limit Peasley too much. He was far and away our best player last game, with most of it coming through the air. If we put up a good showing passing in this game, that could really do a lot to make defenses be honest and open up a lot of things in our running game. I'd like to see Swen get healthy instead of taking more shots in this game, and I don't wanna see another RB, or anyone else for that matter go down. And I sure as hell don't want this to be our embarassing, how the hell did that happen loss that we seem to get every year.

I don't share some of your guys optimism that were gonna have a beatdown this week. We should probably be 0-2 right now. I definitely wouldn't bet on us to outscore them by 23. I could see it being a lot closer than it should be. I think we come away with the win, but I could see it being unconfortably close and winning by like 10 or 14, pulling away late, not much more.
