tyrell williams update?

From what I have heard, this was a good thing. Not a great "team" fit. I hope the coaching staff starts cracking down on off court behavior. Sooner or later, these covered up occurrences will be publicized. The University and athletic dept does not need another Martinez incident. That is one quick way to loose fan and donor support. Practice what you preach.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the team off the court.

Shakir Smith, Leonard Washington, Derek Cooke, Luke Martinez, Trey Washington.

Twitter, The Buckhorn, breaking & entering, etc.

so what is the story with DC......
I second this...

It was explained here http://www.wyonation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12488
Yeah, I think we all get that he pimp slapped some girl and then dragged her across the yard by her hair. I think the question was whats the OFFICIAL story to this. True? False? Overblown? Charges? Thats what I was looking for...

I know that it 100% did happen. I do not know anything beyond that.

exactly

Does there have to be charges for people to believe it happened?
DC didn't get charged for punching a kid at the Buckhorn, but there was a reason that the kid Martinez kicked was already knocked out.

Bad apples are bad apples regardless of the charges they don't get charged with.

Whatever, he grabbed the biggest rebound of the season followed by 2 of the most clutch free throws in Wyoming basketball history.

I applaud his on court effort over the past 3 seasons and his dedication to the team. That is one amazing characteristic he has. That's about as far as it goes for me.

He is not the only one that is a bad apple. He just happens to be today's story. This is also not exclusive to basketball. I am sure this is a issue at schools across the nation, but I am only familiar with UW. The coaching staff needs to practice what they preach. Shyatt has stated how proud he is of his players for their off court behavior numerous times in his interviews. It would be nice if there was some truth to their great behavior. This truly frustrates me that behavior like this is allowed, especially in a climate like Wyoming's. These players are looked up to as heroes by most kids in this state, even though some are not the great role models that they are marketed to be. Just to be clear, these behavior issues do not pertain to all of the team, just a select few.

I doubt things are much different at any other school. Athletes are not saints. They are under a spot light and they're still allowed to have fun. Unfortunately things happen when you have fun. Hopefully they live and learn and don't do anything so stupid it affects the rest of their life

So Shyatt is supposed to discipline someone who's already used up his eligibility? How do you propose he does this?

His eligibility wasn't up when he knocked a dude unconscious in a bar. On a week night. In the middle of the season.
