Sooner or later, these covered up occurrences will be publicized. The University and athletic dept does not need another Martinez incident. That is one quick way to loose fan and donor support. Practice what you preach.
I second this...BJC said:so what is the story with DC......

Yeah, I think we all get that he pimp slapped some girl and then dragged her across the yard by her hair. I think the question was whats the OFFICIAL story to this. True? False? Overblown? Charges? Thats what I was looking for...wyocowboy2014 said:ItSucksToBeACSURam said:I second this...BJC said:so what is the story with DC......

DC didn't get charged for punching a kid at the Buckhorn, but there was a reason that the kid Martinez kicked was already knocked out.
Bad apples are bad apples regardless of the charges they don't get charged with.
Whatever, he grabbed the biggest rebound of the season followed by 2 of the most clutch free throws in Wyoming basketball history.
I applaud his on court effort over the past 3 seasons and his dedication to the team. That is one amazing characteristic he has. That's about as far as it goes for me.
So Shyatt is supposed to discipline someone who's already used up his eligibility? How do you propose he does this?wyocowboy2014 said:The coaching staff needs to practice what they preach. Shyatt has stated how proud he is of his players for their off court behavior numerous times in his interviews. It would be nice if there was some truth to their great behavior. This truly frustrates me that behavior like this is allowed, especially in a climate like Wyoming's. These players are looked up to as heroes by most kids in this state, even though some are not the great role models that they are marketed to be. Just to be clear, these behavior issues do not pertain to all of the team, just a select few.
His eligibility wasn't up when he knocked a dude unconscious in a bar. On a week night. In the middle of the season.joshvanklomp said:So Shyatt is supposed to discipline someone who's already used up his eligibility?
