Sounds like csu, suds, and af are potential targets of pac 4 expansion. It'll be interesting to see if the pac4 can pull something off without a media deal in place.
I know everyone is counting on buyouts for stability. Maybe the buyouts will prevent movement. However, I personally don't think we're out of the woods yet and I think suds and csu would do anything in their power to separate from the mwc even if it doesn't make financial sense. I have no idea on af.

It's interesting that both CSU and SDSU bought new stadiums....if they get left out of the realignment....that money is an albatross. They are pot-committed at this point. If they stay in an MWC that does not have access to the larger media money...that is the worst case scenario for them.

They also don't need them all at once. 1 next year then 2 the following is possible. The bigger issue is tv. Would pac 4 + whatever command a tv contract? Would our media partners shell out another 10 or 20 mill/year for wsu/osu or all 4? Would the aac's partners shell out more?
Waaay too many unknowns in a pretty complex situation to be certain about anything.

Glad to see you guys catching on, lol. MHver3 is an absolute hack who, like a few others, is just trying to jump on the realignment news train and hit it big. He literally does just throw spaghetti at the wall.
To be honest, the only names I really, almost unquestionably trust are McMurphy and Thamel. There's some other school-specific insiders that have good track records, but those two (particularly Thamel) are the cream of the crop, have legit sources, and don't gamble by spouting potential bullsh**.
