I am just speechless. Never would have thought this would happen. The program is falling apart in front of us.
I wouldn't go that far.....but not good if they want to try to salvage the season.

There will still be some that want to blow stuff up your backside and say everything is ok! Things aren't if a guy that has played a lot this season and is one of the main cogs of the team is suspended this late in the season.

Reminds me of the Naked Gun movies with Leslie Nielson.....as the fireworks plant is going off behind him he says....

"just move along there is nothing to see here!"

......Yeah right....

Shyatt said in his press conference this morning that there will be more asked of Sellers, Haldorson, Bentz, and Washington for the rest of the season. Looks like by losing Hankerson we just extended our bench into uncharted territory. I sure hope these guys are ready to play because they're going to now.

Again, this falls to players choices. The coach has it in order, hence suspension. And we can only speculate what in fact has happened. But I'm not going off the deep end saying that we are falling apart. But for those complaining of Washington getting a lack of playing time, he will probably get some now.

Well if we want to be positive about all of this then we can say it will give a lot more guys playing time that wouldn't have gotten it and make them a lot more game ready for next season giving us a lot deeper bench for next year which will be a good thing.

i just don't understand anymore???????????????? sickening, especially at this point in the season, from a RS Junior, wtf

UW Athletics should just go ahead and file to trademark the slogan, "University of Wyoming Athletics: There's always next year".

I would agree is we didn't win about 10 conference titles when I was in school. That was over 20 ago....but still.

Wyoming Athletics....."We'll get there again....someday".

I'm thinking it's best that it happened now. We weren't really gonna make it deep in the conference tourney anyways, I think we're all kind of expecting a bunch of losses to end the season and it makes no difference to me if we do it over-extending our bench more or if it is while we are trying to get Hankerson PT. I'm hoping that all this internal strife doesn't affect our recruits' decisions is all.

Hankerson will be a starter next year if he gets his shit together. Same with Vernon. I did read something on the GOWYOGO board about Washington helping us land a 6'8" PF out of Texas. So even with him upset about playing time, he is still selling the university.

I'm calling BS on this. A guy lets the team down this late in the season and you say he's going to start next year? Nonsense. He's not even that good on the court. Now he makes poor off court decisions. He should be not be back next year.

I see where you're coming from and completely understand. I was just giving him the benefit of doubt. I also think he can improve his play considering he set out a year before this one and is now getting comfortable playing in games.
