The Hits Just Keep On Coming...

Well we don't even have any idea what this is for or how serious it is. Indefinately could mean the rest of the year or 1 game.

It it was 1 game, they would have said one game. My guess is it's the rest of the year and perhaps forever.

Just heard from someone close to the program it was for smoking weed.

I'm outraged. I know 2 other guys who are also outraged.

It had to be that he inhaled too many fumes from Colorado.
There you are. Now he's in the clear.
Let him play!

I'm curious if he tested positive in a drug test. NCAA lowered the minimum limit of THC from 15 nano grams per milliliter to 5 ng/ml. The significant part of this is some think that that low of a level could trigger a positive test from second-hand exposure.

It was not from drug testing. This is not a temporary suspension.

Makes me think that a) he's done until at least the tournament and b) this isn't the first time he's been disciplined for smoking weed. Also makes me think that Keonta's suspension is along the same lines.

Well that is good because a positive drug test is an automatic season-long suspension. So if that happened this week, he would be out until this week 2015. Granted, if he is done with the team, this point is moot.

Sweet. Redshirt Grabau, Nance, Cooke, and Haldorson while Hankerson sits out a season under suspension. The team would be loaded in two years.

Well at least Shyatt keeps the playing field even. If you screw up you have to accept the consequences.

This is what happens when we hire a coach that can teach kids to play but really has a much bigger picture in view than any one season.

We have also seen that "indefinite suspension" does NOT mean "gone forever" in Coach Shyatt's book.

True, Lenoard Washington had to accomplish certain "requirements" before he was allowed to return. Maybe there's a similar situation here.

is Hank really worth the risk/effort??? i just wish we'd recruit players that want to be student athletes and do their best for their school, i understand they're kids and mistakes will be made, but if you don't know the difference between right and wrong by this time in your life, will you ever?? and are you really worth what the coaches think they say in you during recruiting??? just my opinion
