The heck with Dave Christensen

Utah fans not being impressed with DC at Mizzou is bullshit. That just goes to show how little they know when it comes to college football. They think college football revolves around the state of Utah. Here is a little secret, EVERYONE in the COUNTRY was impressed with DC at Mizzou. They might not like him because of his resume at Wyo, but to say they weren't impressed with him at Mizzou is them talking out of their ass and acting like they know about something they really don't.

BP, while I respect your opinion, there is no need to denigrate people you don't know. Some of these people have probably forgotten more football than you will ever know. I was doing nothing but telling you "their" opinion. As far as everyone in the country thinking DC was an offensive genius, I (along with many others) thought he was simply riding the coattails of Gary Pinkel. DC was/is/always will be a legend in his own mind. Again, while I respect your opinion, don't be bad mouthing my relatives. It shows just how classless you can be at times.

I wasn't bad mouthing your relatives, I was telling it like it is for most Utah fans. And guess what? You aren't the only one that has relatives that are Utah fans
Classless? Really? You don't know me at all bud, and enough with the same ole "they have forgotten more football than you will ever know". Enough with the shots like that. If you are implying they know a lot of football and I don't, that's fine, but in reality you have never even talked to me about football. You have seen what I posted on a message board, but you have never actually talked to me about it.

And so yeah, I will stick by what I said, Utah fans think college football revolve around them.

And btw, your family members aren't the only Ute fans out there, I know a few who are very excited about DC.

I hate that whole, "I'm older than you and have forgotten more than you'll ever know" attack. I've never understood how being on this earth longer than me has any bearing on your overall intelligence vs another.

+1

Fat ass Christensen is a poser, pretty good OC with athletes as confirmed here and now. But a terrible HC, this team should have been in Hawaii for the bowl game, we saw early on what we were capable of. He severely underachieved with his best athletes in a year set schedule wise for a 9-10 win season. Those in attendance at the CSU game know the feeling just like under Glenn and Bramlet when TCU came into the WAR for the first time and we handed them the game. The beginning of the end.
Glad we got a guy from the midwest, who knows how to get good kids that may not be the fastest or BCS caliber recruits, and develop an overall strategy for those young men to succeed. Time will tell. Hasta la vista El Gordo.

Dave failed as a HC. He probably won't ever get another shot as a HC at the division 1 level.

He can say what he wants, he's a coordinator now. Hopefully they win or he will be looking for another gig this time next season.
