Big shout out to all the seniors that helped turn this program around. You will be missed. This group includes some of my favorite Cowboys of all time.
Wingard - All-time great! Hopefully a long NFL career is in his future
Granderson - Another all-time great. Ditto about the NFL! Such a good player
Epps - 3-time captain. 4-year starter. top 10 tackler. Hopefully he gets his chance at the league. One of the best Wyo safties ever.
Evans - this is why you stick it out. How good would it feel to be Evans right now? One of the best single seasons I can remember. NFL for him? I hope so!
Mayfield - One of my favorites. freaking tough, tough football player. One of the hardest hitters I can remember
Fort - Thanks for coming back and contributing to bowl teams. Big and fast.
Malauulu - Big guy in the middle. Has had some big-time tackles in big moments. will be missed.
Prosser - Fast, nimble and a hard, hard hitter. He's got to be up there on the all-time sacks list.
Cain - Solid D lineman. Played great in 2016 for the divisional championship team. Good player. Injury robbed him.
Kaden Jackson - Great lineman. Asked to do the impossible for 4 years and did it well. physical, quick, strong.
Zach Wallace - Four year starter. Leader. anchor of the OL. will be missed. There were a lot of rushing yards made behind this OL.
Pownell - good LB/S. Hard hitter and awesome teammate. Important to the team.
Price - Turned into a great WR. Hard worker and really had some key catches this year especially vs CSU.
Pillapil - Started as a walk-on. Hard worker and bright mind. Coaching career in his future?
Nick Smith - Last, but not least. Selfless, good player. Lead us to a win vs AF his junior year.
Hope I'm not forgetting anyone. I think I speak for all when I say we're grateful for your time in Laramie and all the hard work.
