The fact this kid is the all time leader in Gillette school history for scoring , assists and steals says a hell of a lot to me. I played against some very good players at Gillette in the early to mid 90's and we had lots of battles with them A lot of those guys played college ball and they had some great teams those years and won state multiple times. The fact this kid outscored them all and also got more assists and steals as well tells me this kid was D1 material for someone.

The fact he chose to walk on for UW is going to be very good for the program and give it a lot of depth and push those guys that are starting and getting more playing time harder and make us a better team. I am glad with this Shyatt pick up for being a walk on. I won't be surprised if by the time Cody is a junior if he isn't getting 10 to 15 minutes sometimes in games especially if he red shirts for a year.
 
He'll be a fan favorite his whole career, I can basically guarantee that.

It's too bad for him that the position is so loaded. I'll be really curious to see how Shyatt divvies up playing time in the backcourt. I think we'll see a lot of two-PG lineups over time.

I don't know if he will be able to contribute immediately in MWC play, but at the very least he should add some depth and quality minutes the following 2 seasons. Could be a big get in the long run. Maybe not ever a starter, but a guy who can help hold a lead when he comes in.

Yeah I saw those a couple of weeks ago. Andrew Moemeka and Hayden Dalton both have monster dunks as well if you check out their twitter accounts.
 
Good to hear Lieberman is not only contributing but one of the better players.

Get that win then get back to Laramie! Could be a standout guy on the team this season!

Yep. I've speculated that Moemeka might redshirt because he's too skinny to defend the post. We do have a lot of post players that are too skinny to effectively defend the post. We'll see. These guys need steaks.

Moemeka has Dunk town All-Star written all over him as well.

Red-shirting a freshman or 2 would be a good thing for evening out the depth as Adams is the only senior, and the freshman class is so big. With as many potential stars we have that are freshmen, we could be hurting big the year after they all leave, even worse than losing this recent senior class.

Red-shirt 1 or 2 if possible then the classes are balanced throughout.
