Dude...yes.

This is how you get talent to Wyo.
You find kids that want to win, not find kids that want clubs and beaches.

If Wyo makes the Big Dance this season, watch out. Wyo will be around at the top for a while

Here's a snippet from a really good interview with Andrew Moemeka by GWG's Tom Lacock today. (Hope they're cool with it.):

To hear Tim Keeley say it, the University of Wyoming is getting a gem in its newest member. Keeley coached Moemeka this summer as a part of the Southeast Elite Florida squad.

"My comparison of him as a player is Dennis Rodman," Kelley said. "He is very versatile. He can guard a two, or even a seven-footer in the post and he protects the rim very well. He is a big-time shot blocker. He is one of the better athletes we saw on the circuit this year. He can jump out of the gym. He catches lobs that you would have thought there was no way he could get to."

Keeley went on to say that Moemeka has "high upside".

Man it seems like every recruiting class since Shyatt has been here there is at least one or two gems that ended up committing to Wyoming.

No more building from the ground up. Let's win now.
Let's get Nance back and win the freakin' MWC and go to the Big Dance, and let future recruits see how good we are.

From twitter and the rivals site, the visits went well. Apparently this new recruit plays with the other two. Indications are that we are close to landing at least one of them.

Based on Lacock's interview with Justin James today, his visit went really well this past weekend. James likes UW a lot and thinks the campus is beautiful. He isn't ready to commit to anyone just yet. Will take his official to Mississippi State on 8/30 and then sit down with his parents.

Justin enjoyed watching the current team practice and likes the size of the squad -- particularly Barnes and Williams.

"But just seeing the team and seeing how good they can be was cool."

That's good we are competiting with SEC teams for recruits, but man, ya gotta think we should win this battle. I know the kid is from the south, and the SEC is still the SEC even though it's basketball SEC which is not the same as football SEC. It probably won't be easy to beat Miss.State for this recruit, but I think we gotta win these battles to take the program to the next level, especially considering we are starting to recruit in the south (Florida primarily) really hard.
If we start winning these battles now, the word spreads.

But then again, if this was a Mississippi State message board and we heard he was taking a recruiting trip to Wyoming we would all be saying "WE BETTER NOT LOSE THIS RECRUIT TO A 2nd TIER MWC SCHOOL!"
