Still Early...But Who Do You Think Will Be UW's JC POY?

Hopefully I am not missing anyone...and that Puetz clown...is a total vag for quitting.

CB Austin Daniels
WR DeJay Lester
DT BJ Sumter
DT Kurt Taufaasau
WR Mazi Ogbonna

Personally...I think Austin has the biggest immediate upside, but is probably too far behind on the charts a bit (The Gipsons, Kenny Browder, and James Caraway). Both the DT's will work into the fold, but are behind a bit as well. My vote goes to Lester as UW's JC POY.

I hate to say it, but Lester reminded me a lot of Donate Morgan. Lots of speed, but just not a D1 wide receiver. If that guy sees more than 20 balls thrown his way the entire year I will be shocked. Ogbonna is a much more refined receiver and should see more time at WR than Lester will.

My vote goes to Austin Daniels. How soon he sees playing time will depend on how quickly he is able to pick up the mental part of the game. I fully expect him to be on the field A LOT this year and I would bet that he ends up a starter at CB next year. Just my opinion of course.

I hear ya. I think Lester is actually faster than Donate, and has better "quicks". I am banking on Dave and company working him into a top quality WR though (unlike Donate whom basically quit).
