Hmmmmm interesting press release:

Unfuckingbelievable.

November 14th, 2013: The day Wyoming got its wake-up call, or the day things took a turn for the worse?
They misspelled university. Don't think that's a credible source.

I'd say 1240 KFBC and Montgomery Broadcasting has some credibility.

Yes but things put out so quickly they have glaring spelling and grammar mistakes are not credible. It's the twitter mentality. It's better to be first than to be right when it comes to news these days.

Does it really matter at this point?

Same old shit. Every year. Year after year. Keep DC. Keep Burman. Hell, hire Shroyer as a consultant. Bring back Easton. Have a GPA of 1.5 to get into school. It doesnt matter. We are nobodies.

I will eat crow if wrong, but I have nothing but good to say about Sternberg. Change isn't bad and the chronies running the state are a joke. I live in Utah now and I always use Wyoming as the shining beacon of how to run a state, university, etc. I was wrong. They are like everyone else. How Burman still has a job just baffles me.

the good ol boys LOVE politicians. Where there is smoke there is fire...and Sternberg was probably snuffing people out. Many people have quit cause of him? They were probably worthless anyway.

The Board is looking for a local boy with blinders. A yes-man who will continue to be a puppet.

Under pressure, the Cowboy State News was forced to reveal their numerous sources. They have strange names:

lasCrucesPoke
The Cup
SlowHand

Somewhere...Beaverpoke is glued to his phone totally not listening in class.

"So, I was talking to (Insert any player name here) before class today and they said...."

I say we all email everyone of the people on the board of trustees and let them know how much of a piss poor job they are doing.

People are bitching because they did the president search in private. You know why they did it in private? Because last time they did it in public and the staff senate and good ole boys got pissed buchanon didn't make the cut and pressured the trustees into adding buchanon to the finalist list. Subsequently everyone backed out but buchanon. This good ole boy stuff is exactly why I left wyoming.

They've got a story about wolf hunting with a picture of a mangy coyote. Credible news source?

LOL this is funny.....However there is no official announcement yet despite the twitter and Blog accounts!

Trustees have cell phones, so I'm sure they know about all of this speculation. The fact that they haven't put out a quick statement saying that Sternberg's job is secure while they review other personnel matters tells me this is messy, ugly deal and that it is going down the way most of us fear.

Yeah but they don't give a shit about a couple of sports forums full of speculation.......... So no surprise that they haven't refuted any allegations.

Doesn't Wyoming have open public meeting laws? http://legisweb.state.wy.us/statutes/statutes.aspx?file=titles/Title16/T16CH4AR4.htm or does this not apply here?

EDIT: Guess not.

16-4-405. Executive sessions.

(a) A governing body of an agency may hold executive sessions not open to the public:

(ii) To consider the appointment, employment, right to practice or dismissal of a public officer, professional person or employee, or to hear complaints or charges brought against an employee, professional person or officer, unless the employee, professional person or officer requests a public hearing. The governing body may exclude from any public or private hearing during the examination of a witness, any or all other witnesses in the matter being investigated. Following the hearing or executive session, the governing body may deliberate on its decision in executive sessions;

Meetings can be closed when personnel issues are being discussed.
