Sternberg is out.

Cindy Hill is an ex officio member? That's a problem in and of itself.

Speaking of whom, I'm in Oklahoma but I get the Cody paper mailed to me (a week after but still) and sounds like no one in Wyoming lies her. WHY?

I think yall are panicking over nothing.....I would guess they are addressing grievances and employment of those who quit or were terminated. I would bet it has nothing to do with Sternberg's tenure. Hell maybe they are firing CDC?
The BOT convening without the UW President to fire an underperforming HC? Color me skeptical, but I think its more than that.

That last part was meant to be "snide"

She has been fired from every administrative position she's ever held. Most recently vice principle of Carey Jr. High in Cheyenne. She only got elected because of people party line voting. She got the Republican party nomination because her husband (or son, I forget which) is the head of the Republican party in the state. Since she has been in office she has fired nearly all of the Department of Education staff and replaced them with her cronies, misappropriated funds (such as using special education funds to hire unnecessary personal staff), and opened new offices that didn't need to be opened.

Most of her powers have been stripped by the state legislature. She's merely a figurehead now. It wouldn't shock me if State Superintendent becomes an appointed position instead of elected.

My heart skipped at a beat at the sight of the title. Please tell me this is a terrible rumor.

The wheels have officially fallen off the entire school now. Just not the football team.

Holy SHIT! She'll do well here in Oklahoma. The politicians here are just as bad.

In other words, UW is heading head first into an abyss.

Let's make sure we have the fact first. I'd be pretty pissed if the good old boys club forced out a president who wanted to make the University of Wyoming a great school. The last thing we need is a bunch of content leaders who are just there to collect a paycheck.

Unfuckingbelievable.

November 14th, 2013: The day Wyoming got its wake-up call, or the day things took a turn for the worse?
