SkunkApeKiller Manifesto 2.0

So nobody actually has any feedback on this proposal? Just funny pics and childish humor...okay. So I will pose a few questions: Would this format be exciting? How would it be improved?

I wish the entire mtn west would have stayed...the Ewetes....BYWho....TCU...BSU...But unfortunately this did not happen and the conf re-alinement has been an active topic......I actually like this as an idea.....creates more excitement and there will still be bowl games....and you could even assume TV money (what caused the whole conf realignment) would be there/fan interest with a Tourney!....Maybe not for the SEC etc....but even implement part of this idea for a tournament style conf playoff.

What say you..... :popcorn:

BJC, are you SkunkApeKiller? For your first post you seem awfully concerned about the lack of posts to Skunks post.

BTW.....We hijacked the thread because you've essentially created a new division of FBS from the non BCS conferences.

Yeah, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Until then, consider me totally worn out with realignment news for a lifetime. Don't even give a shit if its the off-season.
 
my proposal is half realignment and half how to create a fair playoff system...under my proposal 64 schools are chasing 2 playoffs spots instead of the Meineke Auto Parts Bowl (which if you miss the playoffs you can participate in if you like).

the reason college basketball is so popular is that fans of roughly 360 schools every fall always think this is the year and they have one path to the tourney...win your conference tourney and your in and anything can happen...why can't college football be something like that?

Ok. Then the winner of the MW gets a spot in the playoff. Assuming we have or will have a playoff. Who cares? I'm so sick of alliance, nonalliance, schools jumping ship etc. blah blah. whatever happens happens. I'll wait to see what happens before I think about the ramifications of said move. I'm not debating the pros and cons of whatever dream scenario ever swinging dick dreams up while taking a dump.

I don't think that the NCAA, who cheats programs by not treating every program equally the same, and the big time cheaters care about a "fair" system.

Alabama's program should be shattered just like their new BCS trophy (saw it in the news).

Fair is some can cheat and others cannot.

Or maybe if you can control ESPN then you can make a "fair" system (because it sure seems that they are pushing everything around).

AFA isn't going anywhere unless they can find a home for their Olympic sports.. look at Boise now, they have no home for their Olympic sports..
 
SDSU, Boise State, UNLV, Fresno, and AF would be full members of the Big East with Hawaii football only. Even if SDSU (which doesn't like the 18 game conference schedule of the Big West) and Hawaii (wich i think would love BE fb and BW oly ) stay fb only i think this would work.

Least only wanted BSU for football and that was to keep AQ. SDSU was the tag along so BSU could still go to California. The Big Least doesn't give a flying fuck about BSU's and SDSU's olympic sports, or they would have given them a full invite. Plus, the b-ball schools still drive the Least bus.

If realignment has taught us anything, its that shit changes. If BSU/SDSU threaten to leave the Big East, watch that conference all of a sudden be interested in adding them for all sports.

Its reality at this point....the Big East will continue to jack the MWC/C-USA of its schools....$$$$ is the objective. Sad, but its the truth. Its not right or fair, but that's the way this shit goes.

And aside from football, what does BSU bring to the Least? SDSU has the market, but football is only recently decent, and basketball is only alive thanks to a guy that only has a few more years left in him.
