@ SJSU

Well the junior High that feeds them is also not good at sports. East and Central have good schools with Carey and McCormick feeding them. I assume parents know where to put their houses. South should be playing in 3A or even 2A but Big Horn would probably beat them 42-0
This is not true. Johnson Jr High feeds South and they are very competitive, have won conference football titles frequently. The problem lies in where those kids go after junior high. LCSD#1 allows kids to leave their triad to attend a high school outside of their triad. The district needs to step up and stop allowing this, keep the kids in their triad.

I was just reading about tonights games. Not only has South not scored this season but they average 32 yards of offense per game. The LCSD#1 board should be ashamed of themselves to allow this to continue. It gets worse and worse each year that they do not make changes.

Sheesh....I wonder how many games they've had where they haven't even gotten a first down. And I thought the Pokes offense was bad...yikes!

By my quick count, Wyoming is 3-16 in games played in California since the MW was created in 2000, including 1 bowl game. And we are 0-4 at Joser during that time.

So I will be on Joser minus the points.

I see us winning there. Huge mistake in winning, but I got that feeing.

A wint just screws up what needs to be done long yterm..if there is a long tyerm--but then we lose to UTEP on the road so we balance out!!

Wyoming 25
SJSU 22
I was sorely considering reporting this post. How dare you have any kind of positivity relating to anything with the UW football team on this message board.

On a side note, I think they do pull this out because it's such a Wyoming thing to do...

Brutal.

Props to those South kids who show up and keep playing. Obviously outmatched on the field. Doesn't mean they will be outmatched in life.

This 100%. The LCSD#1 Board, HS ADs, and other adults should all be flogged for what they have allowed to happen to South and for allowing kids to transfer for the East AB program. The East AB program lets kids transfer to a unique education program at East, and then they can drop the class once enrolled. How do I know? Several of my son's teammates from Central are now at East and never attended an AB course.

Huge props to the South varsity players showing up week after week. Anyone disparaging that program needs to get an education and help with the solution.

Also huge props to the parents that keep showing up to watch their kids get roughed up like that....that's gotta be hard to see your kid get go through that every week and keep them engaged in a sport they love. Most kids would want to just quit and give up.

Just to note, it is the IB program, International Baccalaureatte program. And it is nothing but a recruiting tool.

Yup it’s BS of the highest level.

I’m a Laramie native and it’s already hard enough for Laramie to compete with east and central due to being nearly twice as small, but when they allow all the good athletes to go to east and central from south it makes it as if those schools have enrollment of like 2,750 kids. Compare that to 1,000 for Laramie. It’s BS and unfair. Casper does the same thing, basically. Laramie should get to move down to 3A

Back at the ranch, the line on my online book (bet 365) started at Wyoming +7 and then fell all the way to 3. Now, it's at 4 1/2. So a lot of bettors took Wyoming and then money came in on SJS. This just looks too easy. SJS has lost to Fresno and USC. There is nothing that points to Wyoming winning this game. Wyoming's last conference win on the road was New Mexico 2 years ago.
I picked us to go 3-9 this year and this was not one of the wins. SJS 31-3.

I get where you are coming from but enrollment numbers aren’t everything.

Sheridan has long been one of the smaller schools in 4A. I think they are right around 1000 students too.
