JJ has a terrible hitch in his shot only when he shoots 3s. It's weird. He needs to just make his 3 pt shot smooth.

We're getting destroyed on the boards yet again
 
Wish someone would flat out ask Edwards what his reasoning is for not crashing the boards... Shyatt always said because he wanted to get the guys back to dig in on D. His teams actually played D.
This team doesn’t. So not only are we giving up tons of easy shots, we’re also giving up potential extras possessions. It’s not difficult to see...
 
Our offense is such trash (so is our D). We've taken three shots that are not a three pointer most of the way through the first half. It's playground ball at its best. We don't set real screens? Anyone notice that? he set fake screens where we don't actually make contact. ugly ugly ugly ugly

Because he's slow. That's the only explanation

25 three point attempts and only 7 two point shots is not a game plan...it is a recipe for disaster. Because of the jacking of 3's, only 2 free throw attempts in the first half. I've seen more creative offensive sets at junior high games. If they don't keep hitting 3's, or start taking better shots and driving the paint, the Pokes will lose this one. :tickedoff:
 
This team needs Lou Adams. Hopefully he heals up fast. He's going to be critical for having any chance at a run in the MWC tourney.
 
Liking to see this run. Pokes need to keep piling it on this team and then get time to the guys that need it for in game training. This is a good game to run Moemeka out strong.

That's because Edwards doesn't know how to design an offense to get the ball inside. The Pokes just can't do it. And Edwards doesn't know how to defend against teams getting inside. Just look at how easily the very bad SJSU team got inside. Anybody can do it against Edwards.
 
Well, that zone really makes Kelly stick out like a sore thumb. He is usually just fine on defense, but Wellage shot right over the top of him quite a bit. Nobody could expect Kelly to do anything about it. Just a bad system there.
