SDSU

We are a team with numerous weak areas and no hope to be well coached.

New Mexico is bowl eligible and in 2022 averaged like 225 yards per game. They have a premier offense compared ours which continues to blow plays. Two coaching changes later they are bowl eligible after a dismal 2-10 season.

Better teams like SDSU expose us as pretenders.

Not to mention the new coach for NM had people actually excited to go to the home games even before the season started..

Say what you want about coaching, but it wasn't the coaches making terrible passes and players missing tackles.
We're just not a good football team all the way around. The last 2 plays (soft in the slot and wide open on the next) is an example of Junior over his head. There's also good in both coaches and players, but overall, we're quite a ways from the top of the MWC (disclaimer what the hell happened with fresneck and bsu?).

It’s all on the coaches. Putting Anderson in the position to be making those throws when they very well know he is incapable of going through progressions or looking off a receiver.

No it's not unless you consider recruiting. There's also a talent discrepancy. Not bashing the players, but there's been several plays where they've been put in the right spot and didn't execute. There's been plays where the play call and performance were good, There's been plays where the calls were bad. Evil's point is valid, so is yours about coaching.

The receivers are open. It's the quarterback's job to make the pass.

If you want to do the 'coaches are responsible for absolutely everything ' on the field approach, fine.

But I'm sure Anderson is thinking he should have hit those passes.

2 of those 3 picks had no chance of being completed. They were thrown to double covered receivers. The first pick was a bad overthrow.

I agree with "We are a team with numerous weak areas and no hope to be well coached."

Then he shouldn't have thrown them.
and he shouldn’t have stared down the routes with absolutely no look off or progression. But that is who Kaden Anderson is. And these coaches clearly have to know that unless they just burn the film after the game and bury their head in the sand. Anderson can’t be successful against this SDSU team because you have to have a guy in there that requires SDSU to have an extra defender to play the QB run or a QB that can extend the play and look to other receivers in the route.
