Root sports announces MWC games schedule

If you are in the pacific northwest like me... this is great news. These games will be carried on the root sports package here as well.

I will get to see more poke games this year on television, eliminating the internet video scrounge-up that I had to battle last year! Hallelujah!

Looks like 3 Cowboy games won't be televised so far. Texas State (not covered by MWC), the FCS school we play, and @ Fresno State.

Whats funny is that most the Wyoming games are listed close to noon mountain time. Meaning that around 1030 to 11 in the morning here in Washington I will have to be ready for kickoff. My wife and I always do our grocery shopping on Saturday mornings, boy is she going to feel the urgency in walmart as im running down the isle throwing random crap in the cart so we can get back home.

She loves football, but she doesn't appreciate my fanaticism about poke football...

on the side note, that means I have to start sipping beverages around 12 on Saturdays... god its going to feel like im in college again.

FOOTBALL IS ALMOST HERE!

Not @ Fresno St., home vs. Fresno St.

Plus the Texas St. game is going to be on the Longhorn Network.

Nebraska and Hawaii will not be on your garden-variety, easily accesible networks:

Nebraska: Big Ten Network
Hawaii: Time Warner Oceanic Pay-Per-View Network

frontrowsports might have feeds of these games, esp. NU. I am planning to come to the UH game just because I want to see BSmiddy through for 500 yards against them! UH in Laramie at the end of November? They HAVE to be stoked haha.

I would imagine Altitude may look at the UNC game and I bet the Fresno game gets picked up. I'm shocked Root didn't grab that too.

Worst case the new MW digital network will have the remaining two home games. The Hawaii game coverage really sucks. No one has that channel.

The Nebraska game will be very easy to get online.

usagoals.com will have it, firstrowsports.eu will have it and so will vipbox.tv. Most of these sites will have all of the Wyoming games that are televised, even all of the ones on root. Everyone should be able to see every televised game this year, if not on your tv then for sure on your computer. :thumb:

Yeah I beleive the Hawaii game is gonna be on the mwc digital network so even though we can't get the ppv channel it is on it will be on for free on the tv.

I will probably piss off the majority of folks that post here with this one...

But I wished that UW home games were not televised in the Mountain time zone. And in some cases the Pacific time zone.

I completely agree. It makes it very easy for the people in the areas surrounding Laramie to say, "Well, the game is on TV, so I'll just stay home and watch it instead of going."

As a pokes fan in northwestern wyoming this is great news for me. I can probably only afford to go to three games live and their are three home games without tv for me. I'll be going in person to Hawaii, UNC Greely, and Fresno State. 12 hours round trip plus food and hotel money is too much for me to go anymore then three games anyway.

Off topic for you 2 then...if WYO was undefeated, would the # of games you attend be different? What about if WYO was a few home wins away from a MWC championship (and you already blew your 3 game load), would you attend the last 2? Just curious, as I know we all have limits on how we spend our "entertainment" dollar. My entertainment dollars have always been, first and foremost, spent on Cowboy Football - home and away games.

I will always find a way to go to a championship/bowl game. However, cannot say I have much confidence in reaching a championship game.
