The Air Force win (and this season) is exactly how he has remained AD. Two years of nothing, then improvement (and some wins against really bad programs) with a new President and BOT who will look at the performance and say UW is now "improving" and we need to keep building on this season. I'd expect him to get another 3 year contract from the Board and Reeves. My sense is Reeves is just assimilating and conforming to the culture at UW. Nobody (including Reeves now) has any interest in really changing the overall trajectory of the programs. Besides a few serious fans on these boards, the state, UW and the BOT really don't care to hear from us.

Hey guys. our offense averages 19.5 ppg so far this year when we scored 16 last year. We're a whole fg higher. extensions for everyone.

We are actually above water on yards per play 5.70 vs 5.38 given up. Last year 4.87 vs 5.24.

The issue with some sort of positive direction at this point is that it's really not that hard to go from being a bottom 10% program to just a bottom third or even slightly higher program. The churn at the bottom third of college football is really hard to get out of. I am very convinced that Sawvell is not a good coach and Wyoming is still a terrible program despite the last two games. A legit college football program could just about dog-walk the entire MWC...

I just assume him getting brave on X means he is retiring this year. He has never been vocal on X, or any social media. I can't imagine he finally got the spine to try and dunk on fans unless he knew it didn't matter much.

This goes back to Bohl calling out fans as well as Johnsen earlier this year. It makes me feel like the football players could careless about the fans and the admin allows them to be arrogant while never earning it.

In the G6 level this is so true. There is not much of a difference between the best of the FCS and the average G6.

The FCS programs are accustomed to identifying the best players that are missing that one element but can contribute significantly. Eck at UNM has quality players no one seems to know. Polasek seems to have upgraded nicely to the FBS. Both were very good at the FCS level.

Bohl recruited physical dimensions first and raw athletic talent second. He would never have recruited a Flutie at 5’10”.

One win, one decent win, on the football field (at home) doesn't excuse the 20 years of shit that he has "brought" to Wyoming Athletics. Burman still needs to be shown the door, period. My feelings over the last 20 years for Burman didn't change based on what transpired Friday night.
