Purcell will be promoted from 49ers practice squad

The release or Ray McDonald and the injuries on the defensive line mean Purcell will likely be on the active roster for the last two games. Hopefully he gets some playing time.

Good for him, I hope it all works out I know we sure missed him doing his thing here.

Good luck to Purcell! He was a solid DT while here, now let's see if the 49ers will give him a chance to prove it at that level.
