Prediction for Tomorrow?

What is everyone's prediction tomorrow? I am thinking another hard fought emotional first half followed by UT taking over in the second half.

31-13 Texas

'Horns 'Pokes
48 6

The 'Horns will make a big improvement from week one. No slow start. Should be up by say 30 - 3 late 1st half.

This doesn't mean WYO isn't trying to be competitive. Just don't have the numbers! If the UW coaching staff stays intact for another couple of years then UW will be rejoicing. After tomorrow my wife and I will say "Go Pokes"!

Texas- 27 Wyo-30.

Call me a damned fool optimist, but I can dream, can't I?

Plus from what I've seen, that QB of their's isn't very mobile and seems to get shooken up quite a bit if he gets hammered by the D-line. Their running game relies on brute force rather than speed (SUU's RBs were speed runners and kept bouncing off of tackles), so I expect there to be plenty of blitzes.

I'm not going to make a prediction, but I'm praying that our Cowboys will have reason to keep their heads up high after tomorrow's game, and that Ruben will have reason to smile down upon them.

this may have been on before...but i like the way andre ware is thinking

I agree with the head / heart prediction idea from above:

Head: Texas 59, UW 20
Heart: Texas 25, UW 27

Don't really have a score in mind. But I think with the events of the week this game is a lot more difficult than under normal conditions. If anything I think wyoming can cover the spread, but whether or not they do, we'll have to wait and see. However, I think next week they come back, still emotionally charged and a lot more focused and give Boise one hell of a fight.

Of all the spreads for all the games tomorrow, the Texas-Wyoming game is the biggest - 29 points. Ouch!

No...San Jose St. was -39 at the sportsbook I went to yesterday.

Horns 3
Pokes 45

This is also why I dont bet on Cowboy athletics!

Realistically probably more like Horns 45, WYO 10

wasn't that the TCU score last year?

Those who bet on these things......Wyo. is +2500 on the money line. Texas is -5,000 on the money line. Basically, the oddsmakers think it is more likely for polar bears to invade Texas than Wyo. win tomorrow.

Having said all that, I hope we can move the ball a little, that our passing game show itself, and that we come out of it healthy for next week.

Gotta be honest with you all. I'm a little disappointed with most of you and your predictions. Most of your predictions show a 2-10 Rice team being better than us.We're only going to amass 3 to 10 points against Texas? Come on! Rice showed weakness in Texas' D. Yeah they are fast, but Rice moved the ball on them considerably...And Rice's Offense last year was worse than ours. Plus they had less players coming back than we did. But they score 17 and we can only put up 3 to 10? Not buying it.
Advantage- WYO 23 to 25 points
Our D puts me in question just as our Offense did last week. In, throughout our spring and fall scrim's our D was wrapping up and gang tackling, but, all of a sudden we are arm tackling? I'm not buying that we are a bad D either. I really think that DC and Company are really trying to get Texas to buy into that we looked horrid on game film and this should be a pushover since we only beat SUU 28-20. I do think that Mack and Co. will be telling their players to look out for unexpected things. Wyoming is hoping that these Texas Kids look over them...Advantage- WYO ( Texas scores 13-25 points) Wyo's D will show up far more than they showed Texas on game film. I really believe that Wyo knew they would beat SUU and they tried a few new things (Gaps on the O-line) and they played a very vanilla playbook (Same running play every run, D is arm tackling, and D blitzes only twice.) Very conservative if you ask me.
If Wyo does not get intimidated by the fans (which beating Tenn in Neyland, they've showed that it does not affect them that bad.) And if the thoughts of Wyoming's "Man Down" (RN) does not affect them, I have to say. Wyo has a better shot than most.
Believe Wyo 24- Tex 20
If WYO not focused Wyo 17- Texas 25

Out of respect I don't think Mack Brown will allow the score to go over 30. I hope we score at least a td.

Normally a coach might not want to run up the score if his team was ranked, say 25th or so. But Texas is fighting to be the national champs, so anything that would help his team be ranked at the top, I believe he would go for. A big spread is one of those things.

Especially since Wyoming plays both TCU and BSU, too. He doesn't want anybody to be able to say that Boise beat Wyoming by two more touchdowns, or whatever...
