Pokes vs Mountain Hawks

Wyoming is going to be in big trouble in the 2nd half if Washington doesn't play. Wyoming won't keep hitting 3's at this rate and they are only up by 5 points after shooting that well. Plus Nance is in foul trouble already.
 
Wyoming is losing at half after going 8-10 from the 3 point line. Not good. We are in big trouble. I wonder if Leonard is hurt or if Shyatt was mad at him for starting the game shooting a 3 pointer? He is probably hurt.
 
I never could figure out the defensive strategy of letting an offensive player stand out at center court dribbling waiting for 6 or so seconds remaining until the offensive team goes into their play. Why not defensively go out and put some pressure on them? Disrupt their scheme? The offensive tactic always seems to result in a basket.
 
It's about time we hit a buzzer beater lol..... Holy cow. If we would have had Washington I think we win this game by 8-10 points easily.

Awesome! The CBI is only a waste of money/time if you don't advance. Time to make a run and win this whole thing! It could be exactly what this program needs to take off in 2013-2014.
 
Good news is that Dave and Kevin just said Wyoming's next game is at home on next Monday. So I guess we decided to pay for another home game. Maybe there will be a bigger crowd after a buzzer beating win and advancing in the tournament.

So, we'll host either Western Michigan or North Dakota State. Their game is tomorrow night.

My guess is we will probably play North Dakota St. Taylor Braun is a stud for them. They are a tough team. We will need Washington to play to have any chance of beating them.
 
I just happened to walk in the AA with 16 seconds remaining and boy am I glad I did. Everyone is giving credit to Sobey and rightfully so, but it was Josh Adams who deserves some credit as well. He stayed cool and didn't force a desperation shot, he found the open man in the corner for the 3.

Yeah, they are a good team. We should hope WMU finds a way to knock them off.
