Wisconsin?

Watt committed to Central Michigan out of high school. He actually begun his career there as a TE and was later asked to move to offensive tackle. At that point, he left the school and joined the Wisconsin football team as a walk-on.

Wow. Learned something new. How did I not know this? Thanks
westWYOpoke would be able to shed a little light on JJ. He was a trainer for Wisky when JJ was there.

It's true, I worked with quite a few guys there that now play on Sunday's, JJ included.

Those dbs are plenty big enough. Tyrann Mathieu is 5'9" 186 and I'd gladly have 4 guys of his ability to play all 4 DB positions for UW.

It's kinda funny seeing these guys say they have a 4.5 time when in reality there is very few with that kind of speed.

They can say almost anything and do.

It's good to see that they are recruiting guys and loading the positions that are really not needed at this time , to bad they are not looking at the positions that need help on the near future.

Haven't finished the recruiting class yet. I'd expect another DE and/or DT before all is said and done. What other positions need help in the near future?

In a system where establishing control of the LOS is everything, more quality OL/DL can't be a bad thing.

I agree....so far we have 3 Olinemen, 2 DT's and a DE in the current class. We lose one Olineman, one DT (Uso), and two DE's.....we returns backup's at DE....but really need to build size and depth there. I think the coaching staff is doing that at every other position.

My post was in response to another post who mentioned we aren't focusing on positions we need to.....and I'd say other than DE, we are.

Go Pokes!!

One or both of the safeties will become a linebacker. Here's to hoping a good majority of this recruiting class can red shirt. Really solid looking commits so far. These guys may be terrible in game coaches but I think they can recruit

I don't think in game coaching was the problem last year. No coach looks good if the 18 yr olds can't execute.

I'd like to see us get more defensive linemen for sure. Never hurts to be too deep there
