Pokes in the Pros: Week 11

From the desk of the UW AD

Frank Crum didn’t play much Sunday for Denver. But the 12 snaps in which he did participate, he made his impact felt.
The former University of Wyoming offensive lineman blocked an extra point in the second half of a game versus Kansas City. It changed the complexion of a contest that the Broncos ended up winning, 22-19, to take commanding control of the division.
The Laramie native has seen more and more snaps over the past few weeks. Sunday was Crum’s fifth game since being activated, and all have been Bronco wins.
In total this season, Crum has played 47 snaps, 34 on special teams and 13 on offense for 9-2 Denver. The Broncos are idle in Week 12.
Below is a list of all the former University of Wyoming Cowboys and how they did in Week 11.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen, like he’s done multiple times in Buffalo, made history in the Bills’ 44-32 win over Tampa Bay. He became the first player in NFL history to throw for three touchdowns and rush for three more in multiple games.
In the contest against the Buccaneers, Allen was 19-for-30 for 317 yards with the three touchdowns. On the ground he chipped in 40 yards on six carries, again with the three scores.
For the season, Allen is 204-for-293 for 2,456 yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He’s added 65 carries totaling 351 yards with nine scores.
Buffalo travels to Houston for Thursday Night Football before being honored at halftime of Wyoming’s game against Nevada on Saturday afternoon in Laramie.

For the season, Wingard has registered 59 tackles, one interception, five passes defended, one fumble recovery and one quarterback hit for 6-4 Jacksonville.
The Jaguars travel to Arizona in Week 12.

For the season, Wilson has registered 48 tackles, four passes defended and one fumble recovery between his time in Cincinnati and now with Dallas.
The 4-5-1 Cowboys host the Eagles in Week 12.
