Pete Thomas Coming to Wyo

Where did you hear this?

Is there anyway to confirm this rumor? Everyone I've talked to has said that he hasn't decided yet. Lacock is posting the same thing on the other board and he just talked to him a couple of days ago.

Huh? Fairchild ran a pro style offense. Not very effective, but that's what it was. They would occassionally go from the shotgun, but most teams do that too.

And experience does not automatically equal good, or what we need. If he proves me wrong, fine. But I don't think he's done very well anywhere he's been.

I was referring to his offense at NC St. Not CSU. Also for a Qb who has starting experience playing In the FBS does account for a lot. You may disagree, but I feel better about an experienced player than I do a JC or HS Qb.

It is ONLY Wyodawg12 that spread that rumor and he won't tell us where it was "confirmed", and he doesn't show any confirmation, while at the same time he trashes Pete Thomas.

And yet one could argue that he may be the best QB we have. A "D" is still better than 5 "D-/F's".
 
@mikevorel: NC State QB Pete Thomas texted @KellyLyell he's "not even close" to deciding on a transfer school. Not sure where UW rumors coming from.

The fickle finger of fate of who started the "confirmed" rumor can directly be pointed at "Wyodawg12", because it was he who started this bogus rumor. He was the one that said it was "confirmed". I should have been more suspicious due to the fact that he failed to respond when asked where the confirmation came from and to post any information on the confirmation.

At first I didn't understand why Wyodawg12 was bagging on every QB and pumping up Young as the next great Cowboy Qb. Then I realized that Young is Number 12 on our team (as in Wyodawg12). now I was the dude that overheard a group of players eating at a local food establishment. When I heard this Young kid was acting like a prima donna douche, i took it as a grain of salt. Now it seems the apple dont fall from the tree. We dont need this kind of distraction on the team. I hope this Young kid does his talking on the field. Anyways ive heard he is inaccurate as hell. Maybe he has to adjust his throw in our altitude. :whistle:

With only one year left of eligibility, what difference does that make now? Frankly Heap would be a HUGE upgrade to anyone we have in the program now! I am just looking to win as many games as we can next year as I want to see this senior class go out on a high. If Heap does come (which I have no idea about) I hope that people would put their ill feelings toward BYU away so we can have the best team possible. Frankly disliking him because he played at BYU and not wanting him here simply because of that is petty IMO, and would be the same thing as cutting off your nose to spite your face. I don't care if the guy played at BYU or wherever, if he can win next year I would welcome him.

(Heap is way better than Pete Thomas as well.)
