P12 - MWC

This doesn't say how much the CW deal was worth, but i'm doubting the MWC will have more than one television contract -- Pac12 now has 2 and working on a 3rd. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6577988/2025/08/27/pac-12-football-tv-deal-cw/
They will need a lot of revenue to pay their fees to the MWC along with their lawyers.

Plus - the rumor is for some of the media coverage they have to produce the games meaning it’s not 100% income. They have stated it’s about exposure.

I’m not convinced they will be rolling in the riches while we sweep pennies from under the couch.

Why are they not disclosing what they are bragging about? Is it because they are hoping to continue the use of the hardship claim the unjustified contracts with excessive fees the MWC imposed on them?

Motions to Dismiss are hard to win! Even if the MWC has an overwhelming case, the courts don't like throwing a case out at an early point! Generally speaking!!
I’m no legal expert by any means. Here is the timeline of events:

9-24-25 lawsuit filed
11-25-25 motion to dismiss filed by mwc
2-13-26 pee12 files to continue initial case management
3-14-26 MWC files for motion to stay
7-16-26 stay was lifted
8-14-26 motion to dismiss set for hearing 9-9-25

As far as an early date, there has been 11 months of discovery and mediation efforts that may influence the decision of the court.

My hope is that the pee12 has exhausted their arguments and the dismissal is granted forcing them to pay.
