I hate to think whats coming for the University of Wyoming in the next few years. We are a program that no conference wants, including the mwc. We are the reason why the MWC is looked at so poorly. We are holding the MWC back. We are not helping the MWC. This whole realignment stuff actually keeps me up at night. I have extremely nasty thoughts towards the BCS, the Pac 10 for conspiring to ruin the MWC (which succeeded), The Big East for doing the same(which succeeded), even the WAC (which didn't work). The MWC was on its way to becoming a very powerful Conference that could not be denied becoming a BCS auto Qualifier. It was imminent. They could not deny us for much longer. This was gonna go thru the legal system had they denied us. THEN.. Utah takes the easy way out.. I will forever hate Utah. I blame Utah for allowing this whole mess to begin. The MWC was becoming too powerful and the BCS did not want to share the money with another conference. We were threatening the Pac 10, going 6-1 vs. them just a couple years ago. So they take Utah from us. Utah does not have any football tradition prior to Urban Meyer. But listening to the "experts" on tv, I keep hearing them say how great Utah has been forever. This drives me insane. In the 100+ years of Utah football before Urban Meyer, the Utah utes won 10 games exactly....wait for it..... 1 freaking time! Then Urban Meyer chooses Utah over Wyoming and the rest is history. What if Urban had chosen Wyoming? Boise state is really just a glorified Junior College with a track around the football field that happens to have an excellent football coach. Well we are finding out that Football is all that matters. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
Kansas Jayhawks basketball is a top 3 or 4 Program in history. NOBODY CARES. The Big 12 would rather invite Boise St. and get rid of Kansas! Absurd! Football goes in cycles; And NOW IS THE TIME TO BE GOOD IN FOOTBALL! Unfortunately We suck! Wyoming has football tradition... Fiesta Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Multiple Undefeated teams etc.... BYU? Well the best bowl game they have been to is... wait for it... The cotton bowl. They have NEVER been to a major bowl game. THE WYOMING COWBOYS CRUSHED BYU IN FOOTBALL 20 YEARS IN A ROW IN THE MODERN FOOTBALL ERA. ok one game ended in a tie. No one remembers this. All that really matters is how well you have played in past decade. So Utah leaves, and BYU becomes enraged and goes Independent. Then TCU says screw this and heads for the BIG LEAST? REALLY? A basketball conference? Boise is now thinking WTF did we get into? I am now constantly seeing boise fans say, lets drop Wyoming, CSU, NM... This pisses me off. Boise sucks in every sport but football, but can you blame them? How well you do in Football is all anybody cares about anymore. Our national perception is horrible. People laugh at the MWC because of us. I believe that when DC decided to completely roll over last year at TCU.. TCU had to be thinking.... we can't be in a league like this. We did not even try to compete. I will never forgive Christensen for last years team for #1... losing to New Mexico?? #2 Getting our ass kicked by UNLV? #3 Completely rolling over and not competing at TCU? and #4 Losing to BYU who was horrendous last year. I guaranfuckingtee you that Joe Glenn would not have lost to BYU, NM, or UNLV last year. This was our last chance to play BYU. There's no fvckin way we can lose that game. And our sorry ass did. Same goes for Utah. Last chance to play them and we let them spank us in Laramie? This schit is unforgivable. They ruin the MWC then kick our ass on the field as they leave? I bet TCU bitchslaps us this year on their way out. Christensen doesn't have enuf pride in the State of Wyoming to run this program in my opinion. We don't need a coach that goes back to Missouri saying shit like " That's the best we are ever going to get up there". He has ruined our rock solid defense in 2 short years, and the offense is no better. I miss Joe Glenn, he got alot out of his recruits and is a great coach. Unfortunately his recruits were better suited for the big sky conference, although he put together an unbelievable defense, especially given the fact the offense was incompetent. So without Congress getting involved it appears Wyoming may be left in the cold along with the other schools that suck in football and don't have a market to speak of. If it goes to 4 superconferences, we will be left out. The other conferences may not even stay D1, probably go to "D1AA". If the Wyoming football players and coaches only knew how much this season means. Can we not put together one magical season?

If Wyoming could get on national TV, I think people would watch. There is a certain mystique about Wyoming and people would watch if we were actually on national TV.
