OT: Missouri Football players on strike

It'd be pretty sad if the only reason Pinkel stood behind his players was because he thought it would benefit the program in the long run.

I'd like to think he stood by his players because he believed it was the right thing to do.

When I see the Mizzou stuff going on, the Black 14 comes to mind for me.

Obviously there are a LOT of difference with the two, but I notice how Pinkle stood by his players where Eaton didn't.

What are you inferring - that Eaton was wrong and Pinkle was right, or the other way around?

No. I am just noticing how one stood by his players and the other didn't.
Hindsight is always 20-20. I dont know what Eaton did was wrong or right.
What I do know is Eaton didn't stick by his players and Pinkel did.

Eaton didn't know it would crush Wyo football in the long run. But maybe Pinkel knew what it could do to Mizzou football based off of the Black14.

This is what I believe.

Especially in the SEC.

Could you imagine trying to recruit black players to Mizzou if Pinkel came out with a Coach Eaton apporach and lost the support of the black athletes?
