Brandon, does the www in front of it make a difference? In theory it shouldn't, but you're way more web savvy than I am.

MrTitleist said:Okay, update on this, definitely change your bookmark to https://wyonation.com if you're having your problems. The setting for the site prefers that over www.wyonation.com. So please, update to the first address and it should take care of that problem.
Wyokie - your using IE, what is this 2017?Wyokie said:MrTitleist said:Okay, update on this, definitely change your bookmark to https://wyonation.com if you're having your problems. I have my bookmark for this site at https://wyonation.com but I still have problems with staying logged in whenever I leave. When I RARELY use Chrome, I have no problems but I use Internet Explorer 99.9% of the time. I know! I.E. is crap! So sue me!!!
Funny thing is I have no problems with any other message board including the Portland State message board which is similar to this one!!!

Maybe you have a goofy config in IE that deals with cookies a certain way. If it works in Chrome, but not IE, I'd say you have a problem local to your PC and not the site.. Haven't looked at IE in a while to see what its native settings are.
The Portland State site is hosted by the same server as this one, if memory serves correct. But not sure if their config is different or not.. haven't been on that site in a few months.

WyoBrandX said:I doubt a virus/malware is the source of your problem. Its more than likely something in IE (cache/cached cookies/etc). I would really use firefox or chrome if I were you.

Whenever I tried it, it went to a server error page until I googled wyonation itself. Now, it seems to log me out every so often with the new save.
I had the same problems and I still have to re-login eventhought I set mine to automatic.
Had this problem for months now. It’s super annoying. I check this site much less than I used to....
I've found if I don't check the site for a few weeks to a month, it will log me out. But it keeps me logged in if I come here more regularly than that.
I just logged in. I can open a new tab on my browser and it will make me sign back in. Were not talking days, weeks, months. I'm talking seconds to minutes.

Cleared the cookies, restarted Firefox, and now have the main page (not the forum index page) as my quick link/favorite bar. So far, it seems to be working.WyoBrandX said:Sorry for the delay - been traveling.
Try clicking the hyperlink at the bottom of the page that says "clear board cookies." Then try clearing the cache with the URL I put above. Close browser, reopen it. go to https://wyonation.com (update your bookmark if you haven't). That should take care of it.
