THere was some talk that Burman was in the running for this job, but that was just being manufacturedby the Pivic kid that is an associate AD at Oregon State and Burman who thought they could work together and push Burman to OSU and then get Pivic back to Laramie. I doubt Burman was even considered, this guy from Ohio State got the gig.

I know it is just coincidence that the new President is from Rock Springs and this guy is from Rock Springs. I could not imagine saying sports is important at Wyoming and then hiring from a dumpster fire that has been OSU.

We all know Whisenant will probably be the next AD

His kid (Jeff) would be a good hire, maybe not for the primary spot, but the second in command. Always liked Jeff, and wonder how he came from that family. He is 1 of 4.

Maybe? Likely not, however I don't know you, hence the comment I made as in "most". I have a long history of watching the glad handing good 'ol boys network, and how they treat others that aren't in their "club". People that act like their shit doesn't stink, and that they are better than others because of their bank accounts, are mostly / largely assholes.

So give me some specifics of your interactions with Bruce that justify you calling him an asshole, I don't know you and you do not know me. However, unlike you I try to avoid calling someone an asshole based on general (and often wrong) impressions from a diatance.. I know Bruce very well and can verify he is anything but a generous and kind man who is apssionate about UW, Wyoming and the Cowboys,. More than just his financil supprt he donates tremendous time to support the College of ENgineering and help students from all backgrounds. SO I can make a case based on direct knowlege and inteaction that Bruce is anything but an asshole. So what do you do to support UW?

I have already spelled out why I think he is an asshole. He is clearly your friend, so you think otherwise, and that works for me...we each can have our opinions, it is ok to do so. He may be a great guy to you, but to me, I see somebody that turns his nose up at others and thinks his shit doesn't stink. Not talking about students, talking about his direct peers. I am not a person that needs my ass kissed to feel of value or worth, and I don't associate with circles / groups of people who do.

What do I do to support UW. Hmmm. For starters, how about a lifetime and a half (over 80 years) of continual donating, volunteering, 3 sports worth of season tickets, traveling, supporting students, supporting student athletes, and being a passionate fan. Have I given as much $$$ as Bruce has to UW...I doubt it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was very very close.
