I just wanted to extend this olive branch to the great Wyoming fan base. David is my kin through marriage, and I've had the privilege of working with David in youth football. He's been a great kid and athlete from a very young age and has worked hard to get where he's at. With that said, knowing him the way I do, I know that he truly appreciates the fans of Wyoming and the coaching staff for giving him the opportunity to compete at War Memorial. The timing isn't great and I know he feels bad, the decision was extremely hard on him and he took A LOT of time to think on it, but ultimately, Nebraska is his dream school. I always knew coaching him in pee wee football he'd be playing for the mighty Big Red.

This is the arrogance of Nebraska fans that I hate. I remember three years ago when I was told they were going to beat us by 5 touchdowns and Nebraska got outplayed that game and Wyoming should've won. Not knowing who Jay Novacek is another arrogant example of a Nebraska fan. Best Saturdays of football season is when Nebraska loses and the state is going to explode.

So you're saying you're a bigger Nebraska hater fan than an actual Wyoming fan. Prayers friend. Don't let the hate consume you.

Remember October 1, 1995??....Nebraska 45, Wyoming 35. Wyoming had a TWO touchdown lead at the half!!!! It was also the same year the Huskers won the National Title. Wyoming was the ONLY opponent Huskers had that year that gave them problems!!!!

You have every right to be upset, but some of it is spiteful. It's not like David lied to the coaches about taking visits or took money or something. If he did something like that, I would understand, but he's a classy kid.
