Growing up in Nebraska and being a Cowboy fan my whole life, I can tell you he would've been much more successful as a Cowboy than a Husker. The amount of guys who are suppose to be the next big thing as high school players in Nebraska who get pushed to the back burner because they aren't sexy enough for boosters is unbelievable.

So, if you had accepted an offer to idaho state and then wyoming - your long-life favorite team - comes comes in and offers - you wouldn't take it? Please. I don't blame these kids for changing their minds. It's the only time in their college career that they're going to have any leverage. After they sign the LOIs, the schools - and especially the coaches - have all the leverage. Do i wish he had stayed? Hell yeah. But im more upset about losing the dt to unlv.

I think they did come calling late, actually. And came calling to Jace Webb, too. Those guys' word actually means something.

We do the same things to the players ... we tell them if they work hard and make a difference they will earn a scholarship, instead they can and will be told there services are not needed . The way I see it it's the same thing. It's not a game anymore it's a business between the players and the program and I'll assume that both parties will treat it as such. Shoot without players the program isn't going to succeed and with out the program they won't , goes both ways all day long.

Sucks that this kid wasted so much of our time. Held an offer for him all this time and screws us at the end. Guess all the time and relationships with the coaches and other recruits meant nothing. Man, one phone call from big red is all it took. This one bothers me more than any of the others for some reason and 'm not sure why .
