NIU was #2 last week in ESPN's bottom 10.NIU is very similar to a decent high school team. Glad we won. We should have. As Ore mentioned, pretty sure NIU is the worst team in FBS.
They did it, NIU is #1!!!
UTEP creeping up to #3.
What great additions to the MWC…

Would you rather we be in C-USA with Middle Tennessee State, Kennesaw State, and Delaware? That was the alternative. They did it, NIU is #1!!!

No. Of course not. I would suggest Big Sky over a ridiculous CUSA conference playing irrelevant crappy teams all over the country. At least the MWC was able to maintain some semblance of a western footprint. But make no mistake, competition wise, the MWC and CUSA are pretty darn close in football now.Would you rather we be in C-USA with Middle Tennessee State, Kennesaw State, and Delaware? But Burman and the athletic department over the last 15 years or so is the biggest reason we were left to pick between the ‘ol Southpark options of Turd Sandwich and Giant Douche.
We were left behind by Utah State and Colorado State. We were found by peers to be less desirable than those programs. How desirable was Utah State 10-15 years ago?
