Ohio and Illinois markets, that’s why.
Because it’s potentially cheap and some MAC programs don’t like Tuesday games in November. Besides, the best of the MAC is better than the bottom of the CUSA.
Too late now realistically. Why would Air Force and UNLV agree to forego their massive bonuses and their get out of jail free cards of the Big 12 invite them? This is all so fucking stupid. Just merge the PAC and MW. Literally anyone that's not a sports network executive or attorney knows this is the way to go.
That won't happen. Egos are bruised and attitudes of indifference are expressed. This is a nasty divorce, and getting nastier by the day. To the point it is becoming vindictive on both parts. Game over. This is all so fucking stupid. Just merge the PAC and MW. Literally anyone that's not a sports network executive or attorney knows this is the way to go.

Wait….what! They can now go to the PAC and no exit fee?Too late now realistically. Why would Air Force and UNLV agree to forego their massive bonuses and their get out of jail free cards of the Big 12 invite them?
-Part of the new deal is that there are no exit fees if UNLV leaves for the Big 12 or other P4 conference.

Same for all the members of the new PAC. They're all hoping for a Big 12 invite. The PAC isn't a Power 4 conference. No exit fees for UNLV if they head for the Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, or ACC.
The big card that is about to drop is the pending ACC implosion. Clemson and FSU want OUT. Once that happens, I see the ACC either trying to survive by raising the AAC, Sun Belt, etc. or them wilting and being carved up. Ultimately, I see the ACC imploding. Clemson and FSU go to the Big 12 or SEC. The others may separate between the Big 12 (UNC, NC State) or Big 10 - with some finding a place back in a PAC-lite (Stanford and Cal).Same for all the members of the new PAC. They're all hoping for a Big 12 invite.
